Introduction:
Pakistan North and South region is heaven of Natural beauty that captivates
travelers from around the world. Nestled within the mighty Karakorum, Himalayas and a long
coast line. Pakistan is rich in its culture and food of Pakistan is being loved all over the world.
Mainly Pakistan has 4 major seasons regarding Tourism which are summer, blossom, autumn
and winters. Over the years there is an increase in Pakistan tourism and it will grow more in
years to come.
In this document we will discuss about how we can target international and domestic tourism
market.
Social Media
In this modern Era Social media is an ultimate tool to attract foreign tourist towards
Pakistan through engaging content on the page of different Platforms. Getting into
different groups of face book of different travel agencies is a plus.
Adventure Tourism
Pakistan is one of the hubs of world largest peaks in the world. Every year many
International tourists come here to summit or to see them from Base camps. Making
trips around trekking will attract more clients.
Religious Tourism
Over the years Pakistan is an attraction for Sikh pilgrimage and Japanese for blossom
flowers in blossom season. Create Packages to attract them accordingly.
Direct Hunt
Underrated but effective way to attract foreign clients. Directly jump on to their DM
and present your services.
Commission Agents
Finding agents in international circuit is an art but it can be done with research
through social media.
My experience with a domestic Tour Agency based in Islamabad. How they attracted foreign
Tourist towards Pakistan with collaboration with only one travel agency from Thailand and
Partnering with them. Then they gradually increased the numbers of travel agencies from
different parts of the World.
Public Tours: This is organized by tour agency for average standard people on
weekly basis; the primary source of clients comes from social media.
Customized Tours: This is basically a good source of income for the travel
agency. In this private vehicle, Hotels and Travel guides. Clients come from all
sources given below.
Social Media
30 % of the domestic tours are being initiated by targeting from face book and
instagram through lead generation adds. In this regard our content should be on
high level. A strong digital media team is essential for both international and
domestic tours.
Corporate Sector
30% of the domestic tours come from corporate Sector. Strategy is to visit their
offices and setup meetings to convince to book tours from our tour agency. Over
the years there is increase in corporate tours especially north.
Universities/Colleges/Schools
This is a very important sector. Over the years convocations of different universities
are also being held up north apart from annual trips. Strategy is to visit their offices
and setup meetings to convince them to avail our services. 20% share comes from
this sector.
Walk-in/Goodwill
On initial level 20 % will come from here. It will take time to increase clients from
this area.
In domestic tours we have to collab with different tour agencies working in the
market. Same dates tours is being announced by different companies because adds
which will be run on social media you will get sometimes 6 sometimes 10 clients so
in collaboration tours is being managed easily.
