Industrial Health, Safety and Environmental: :‫السالمة والصحة المهنيه‬

Thanks to the sustained efforts exerted by Petro Amir
Staff and the cooperation of the senior management, we
have succeeded to achieve 1.76 Million hours without
injuries in addition to the adherence of the staff to the
Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

- Two other development wells locations have been

- Update STOIIP (Stock Tank Oil Initially in Place) for STOIIP (Stock Tank Oil Initially In ‫تح ديث‬ -

Operations Activities: :‫أنشطه العمليات‬

- The daily production average is approximately 3432
BOPD (Barrel of Oil per Day) which is equivalent of
98% of the gas production plan (3500 BOPD) and 5.4
MMSCFD (Million Metric Standard Cubic Feet A
Day) represents 139% of the gas production plan (3.9
MMSCFD).

- The annual production of condensate is 17,793
Thousand BBLS (Barrels)
- 16 well workover have been carried out, the
remaining workover plan are 14. The actual activities
production is 0.9 MBBL, representing 0.8 MBBL of
the estimated production.
Projects Activities:
- Petro Amir managed to save the power supply to the
Administration Building, the production facilities and
the Camp. Projects also achieved the electricity
connections to 6 wells through the Electrical
Submersible Pump (ESP); Currently they are
working in the 3rd phase of the project to connect
electricity to other number of wells through the ESP,
Nevertheless this project will save annually
approximately 17 Million EGP.
Financial Statement:
- Total Expenditures of Petro Amir is 17.7 Million
Dollars.
- The actual expenses of Exploration is 49,000USD
- The actual cost of Development is 7.3 Million USD %‫؟‬41.2 ‫ ملب ون دوالر وال تى تمث ل‬7.3‫التكلف ه الفعلي ه للتنميه هى‬
which represents 41.2% from the total Cost.
- The total actual Operating cost is 36.1 Million USD
which represents 58.5% from the total cost.

Any other Business
The years 2018/2019 considered a turning point towards
a long term strategy and hard but essential decision
aiming to establish a promising well-organized,
sustainable and convenient future, the aforementioned
changes weren’t easy specially with all the challenges we
face as follows:
- The obsolescence of PA Concession
- There is no strategic plan developed before for
Petro Amir.
We have accordingly undertaken an ambitious range of
structural actions and decisions that are transforming
most of Petro Amir business, specially financial and
operational dimensions.
This is a detailed Development Plan presentation to our ‫ويوج د ادن اه ع رض تق ديمى لخط ة التنمي ة الخاص ة بالش ركة لع ام‬

- New seismic reprocessing for finding potentials of
new targets.
- New interpretation for new opportunities and new
deeper targets.
Secondly, we formed a structured framework of
Company Policies & Procedures, both those were taken
before and the others that we shall explore in future, o
maintain basic standards of the industry and organize the
work in the Company’s Departments.
An ambitious plan for Manpower Career and
Performance Development over the following years, to
qualify them for the new era.
As a Chairman of the Board, my role was to describe the
plan to overcome those challenges and difficulties with
the utmost clarity and transparency. However, I also
wanted to convey that we were entirely confident and
certain about the path we had to follow for the Company
successfully to overcome those challenges.

Finally that brings us to the end. I would like to thank

partner North Petroleum International Company (NPIC),
I wish you all the success in your business and I always
have the pleasure to offer my support and my colleagues’

On behalf of Dr. Xiruo Hou the Chief Executive Officer
of North Petroleum International Company and on my
own behalf, I would like to thank Petro Amir staff for the
exerted efforts in achieving our strategy and main goal.
We are all aware of our field condition, we are suffering
from the regression in NWG Field, we are trying to do
our best to keep the production to meet our
commitments. Additionally, if we find any other
opportunity to increase the production, we will not
hesitate to seize this opportunity. I think if we are after
changes, we have to think out of the box; Development is
not the only way to enhance the production. We have to
find out the way to explore new targets just to try to
compensate or add some reserve and retain our
production.
In the mean time we have to follow the cost reduction
culture and I would like to thank Dr. Ayman Morshedy
for understanding this issue, because we are all aware
that it is not easy to release any one from the Joint
Venture staff. But as I mentioned previously Dr. Ayman
Morshedy understands this well; accordingly we reached
an agreement together that if anyone would like to
transfer, resign and/or take unpaid vacation, I think we
will not hesitate to approve; As this will give a chance to
reduce the overheads expenses. We found out this year
that the retirement for some of PA staff helped in
reducing the G&A costs.
In addition to the maintenance aside from the Medical
Coverage as we all aware the Medical Bylaw here is
different from the rest of the sister companies in other
words the Petro Amir Medical Bylaw includes special
advantages, as a result we try to make any modification
and Dr. Ayman agrees with me on this issue, how can we
keep affording these costs, as I am sure NPIC and our
partner are suffering from the overhead charges,

‫‪find a way to increase the production. Accordingly, I‬‬

I think Mr. Samir zalat have tackled all the issues we
would like to talk about, I think Petro Amir is doing a
great job but we are at the end of production, plus the
contractors requirements and in addition to that we would
like to keep the Company’s economical situation’ we
have done support in the workover this year and we are
very optimistic about the seismic interpretation.

Zalat, I would like to clarify one point; Actually we have
a problem, we support the drilling but what stopping us ‫ نحن ندعم فكرة الحفر ولكن ما يمنعنا‬، ‫واحدة ؛ في الواقع لدينا مشكلة‬
that drilling is ineffective economically wise, accordingly ‫ وبالتالي نحن لسنا ضد‬، ‫هو أن الحفر غير مجد من الناحية االقتصادية‬
we are not against the idea of drilling in itself, we are
.‫ نحن ضد زيادة اإلنتاج من خالل الحفر‬، ‫فكرة الحفر في حد ذاته‬
against increasing the production through drilling.

increasing the Monthly Intensive Scheme to encourage
and motivate the staff to exert more efforts in their
business. Regarding our Chinese partners Mr. Allen Hu
preferred to negotiate the issue privately to find a suitable
way to apply the increase, the increase percentage 25%
will be deducted from the 2.9 Million Dollars.
The increase will be implemented early August 2019 and
the Policy of the Monthly Intensive Bonus is subject to
revision.
