About the Client:

Phi Partners are currently supporting a renowned Global Asian financial group established in the
1970s, with a vast workforce of 50,000 across the globe, spanning New York, London, Singapore,
Hong Kong, and Tokyo. This client offers a diverse array of services, such as sales and trading in
debt and equity securities, as well as underwriting new issues and providing M&A advisory services.

About the Program:

In recent months, our client has embarked on a series of vital initiatives in their Global Risk
Department, specifically addressing Market & Credit Risk Analytics and Reporting for their entities
across the world. The department employs a range of cutting-edge technologies, including
ActivePivot, Tableau for data visualization, Snowflake for data storage, processing, and analytics, as
well as various Java-based in-house applications.

As the need for strong project governance arise, Phi is looking to hire an experienced PMO to join
our Bucharest offices. The consultant will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, the Head of
Development team, and the Head of Global Risk Support. As an integral member of our team, the PMO will be
involved in all projects, with a key emphasis on budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.

Key Responsibilities:

The PMO will be responsible for, but not limited to:


 Scheduling/chairing daily scrum meetings and preparing bi-weekly sprint retrospective meetings
 Preparing meeting agendas and relevant materials as required
 Scheduling and facilitating monthly internal pre-briefs
 Ensuring relative priorities are understood, updating and advising on prioritized items
 Attending and coordinating necessary client monthly meetings
 Tracking and managing program costs
 Updating and maintaining project plans
 Conducting monthly checks of consultants' timesheets
 Other Ad-Hoc tasks agreed with the manager

Your skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:


 Strong project governance experience, ideally within the Capital Markets industry
 Thorough understanding and experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
 Strong problem-solving skills to identify & resolve issues, mitigate risks, and make data-driven
decisions
 Knowledge of reconciliation would be useful
 Familiarity with tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Oracle is desirable
