Background

Strategy team works closely with the Bank and its subsidiaries (Group) to evaluate and
execute strategic initiatives including M&A, divestitures, equity investments, special internal
projects, business planning process, and other strategic transactions

Proposed role will be part of strategy team and will be focused on equity investments and
M&A execution.

 The team member will be expected to independently lead (a) equity investments – from
proactive sourcing to successful execution, and (b) M&A execution.

Job Role

 For equity investments

o Proactive sourcing of attractive investment opportunities through building and

§ In case of early stage investee companies, provide high-touch support, and proactively
work with the founders to achieve scale, organization build out, and cash-flow planning

 For M&A

ensure the deals make strategic sense, fit with our stated strategy and business plans,
and are integrated smoothly and fully optimized
o Perform detailed financial analysis, develop pro forma financial models, valuation
analysis and synergy models in support of potential transactions

 Leading all aspects of transaction execution (whether equity investments or M&A


execution) including project management, business and financial due diligence,
structuring, valuation, document negotiation.

o Work closely with business teams (M&A transactions), internal functional experts
(legal, tax, accounting etc) and outside advisors to support execution

 Presenting investment recommendations or M&A opportunity for internal approvals


including board submissions

Job requirements

 Minimum 10 (maximum 15) years of relevant experience in investment banking


(specifically coverage of financial institutions/ sponsors, or M&A execution), private
market investments
 Established industry relationships and network to gain access to deal flow for equity
investments
 Experience leading negotiations with multiple stakeholders and executing a wide range of

Key Responsibilities

 Helps in deal sourcing activities both directly and via banker/ other channels as per the

The firm is looking for a Director of Portfolio Capital Formation to join B Capital Group in
Singapore. The ideal candidate can help manage multiple fundraising processes across the B
Capital Group portfolio. The Director will assist the Firm’s Partners and work directly with its
portfolio companies in the development and fostering of important Venture Capital, Private
Equity, Limited Partner, Family Office, Corporate Investment, and other investor
relationships. He or she will manage a pipeline of potential investors for a broad range of
growth technology companies, including potential investors sourced through significant

The Director will be responsible for a range of activities including the creation or updating of
marketing materials, project management of the fundraising processes, as well as ideate and

Duties and Responsibilities

The Role
The role of an Associate will be to support the Digital and Consumer Goods investments in
India and China. The job will involve both deal identification and sourcing, as well as
portfolio management support. The associate will support the team and portfolio companies
with the strategy development, business planning, monitoring and fund-raising, and exit
planning requirements. The Associate will also be involved with the identification and
evaluation of new deal opportunities. The role will enable the Associate to gain significant
exposure on new emerging Personal care businesses along with the total Venture Capital cycle
of investments to exits.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include: market appraisals, financial analysis of potential


investments, building financial models and supporting the Investment Director on all aspects
of portfolio management, including interaction with partner funds and internal reporting to the

and potential deals, including the assessment of the relevant markets, business models and the
