D. BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Please briefly
present the Doicesti Secondary School is located in Doicesti village, 80 km from Bucharest, in the area called
partner Colony. It is a modest school with 12 classrooms, a computer room with an Internet connection, a
organization. library and a sports mini-club. Starting with 2018, when the school's structure was abolished, it is
the only school unit in the commune that has legal personality along with 3 kindergarten
structures. The school year 2018-2019 started with a staff of 241 students, of school and 90
preschoolers in kindergarten. The institution-level building was fully occupied in the 12 classrooms
where course classes and a computer science laboratory equipped with 10 computers connected
to the Internet. In 2007, through a government project, I received the 10 computers that now have
a high degree of wear and tear in software.

Students are learning from the age of 6 years disciplines that help them develop their general
culture, social, linkage and digital competences. Thus, they study as optional subject starting from
the preparatory class, the second foreign language, the French language and the in the 5th grade
they have the discipline of computer science. Because this discipline is part of the common trunk
only in grades V and VI, students continue to develop their digital competences by studying
informatics as an optional subject at the following classes.
The results they achieve in learning are modest and very rarely these results obtained and results
at school Olympics. The family environment in which they originate produces a footprint on the
intellectual development of children because there are many families separated, with parents
going to work abroad and children left in the care of grandparents or families where one or both
parents do not work. Of the 241 students schools, 90 benefit from social scholarships because they
come from poor or single parent families. Interest in student learning is mediocre. They do not
excel at the discipline exams, but they are very attractive to sports and computer science. They are
full of enthusiasm, especially when they are involved in out-of-school outdoor activities:
excursions, sports competitions, environmental activities and environmental protection, and they
respond very well to the activities they work on computer projects.

Our school staff is highly motivated and very hard working and we want to improve ourselves and
broaden our horizons.

The persons involved in the project are teachers with experience in didactics and in the
development of national and European projects. They have very good networking and engagement
skills and carry out formal and non-formal activities with students including health education,
