Duolingo is a fun application for learning languages ​for
free and users can learn languages ​like playing games
because this application uses audio-visual methods in
learning. Duolingo can improve your language skills.
Apart from peaking skills, Duolingo can also improve
other skills, such as writing, reading, translating, and
listening to how words are said.

You must heard of Duolingo English Test, the one with the
yellow logo, right?

The Duolingo English Test is a standardized test similar to the

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests.
We can say that, Duolingo is an application to practice our
language skills and The Duolingo English Test is an application

teach their students in class. This website can be used to conduct ice
breakers before class or even quizzes with fun media. We can
enhance the student's interest on the material through this website
because there will be no more boring quiz in display!
 In learning English, Kahoot can be used to test out students’ understanding
of the materials by doing quiz relating to it.

For example: The material of the day is about

various types of tenses. The teacher can arrange
some questions that has up to 4 answer options
about tenses. After that, the teacher can go to
Kahoot and design the quiz and put some fun
images in it to get the students’ attention!
Kahoot is not only capable for getting the students’
attention for the material, it can also boosts up students’
confidence. This is because Kahoot has a ranking system in
which it would be displayed after each question has been
answered. At the end of the session, the final ranking will
be displayed. The top 3 in the ranking will have an
animation when they are revealed.
