4.2.4. Power supply check mode (OVD checking)
In this mode, an abnormal power supply can be checked. Use this mode, when one or more of the following symptom occur.
Symptom:
• It takes an excessively long time to boil water. (The indicators on the operation panel are normal.)
• The pot/pan intermittently stops heating up. (The indicators on the operation panel are normal.)
• The indicators on the operation panel disappear momentarily, or display intermittently. (Heating power starts/stops simulta-
neously with the blinking indicators.)
Note:
• If "C01" is displayed in this mode, the unit itself is not malfunctioning. This indicates that the power being supplied to it is abnor-
mal, either due to an incorrect supply voltage or a disturbance in the waveform, caused by electrical noise or for other reasons.
• OVD (Over Voltage Defense,) is a damping function that is activated to temporarily stop operations in order to prevent the inner
circuit of the IH cooktop from overheating.
Remedy:
• Ascertain the source of the power supply noise and remove it. (Refer to "Noise Incidents" - KAD0507001BE.)
1. Check if the electrical noise is being caused by other equipment in the house.
2. If the noise is a coming from an outside source, approach your power company for assistance.
Operating procedures
*In this mode, only the following button can be used On/Off. C01: Abnormal power supply.
Heating up and Heating down The wave exceeds the OVD limits.
How to release
Turn the main power switch off.

Note:
When replacing the key-top, use the key-top repair kit.
Panel sheet (left control panel side): use a key-top repair kit left.
Power panel sheet (right control panel side): use a key-top repair kit right.
Left and right key-tops and indication sheets have the same set of components.
24
Replacement procedure
a. Attach the indicator sheets A to the key-tops.
25
5.6. IH coil sets
Note:
The left and right IH coil sets have the same set of compo-
nents.
The disassembly procedure is the same for both of these.
26
Assembly
