NARRATIVE REPORT

MONDAY A NEW DAY

Monday is a new day, how? On Mondays we took online classes so I can say this is a new
experience and since it’s our 86th founding anniversary, I expected this to be fun. Since this is my first-
time experiencing foundation in Arellano University, I have my own speculations and I am more
willing to explore.

Monday means it’s the first day and of course the grand opening. I woke up early and prepare,
just to be sure that I won’t miss this grand opening starting with fun approaches by the emcee. As I
expected, as soon as I walk in, I saw colorful booths around as well as the lively and vigorous
atmosphere saying, “it’s starting”. We started by prayer, Arellano hymn and some opening remarks to
officially start the program.

Me and my friends are so excited to finally try different booths so without much of waiting,
we eventually explore booths and stuffs to enjoy there. My guy friends love to play online mobile
games, so they hurriedly applied for the Mobile Legends and Call of Duty booth, where is on ABM
students’ authority. While waiting for the game to start, we first made our index card to be passed to our
subject teachers, those index card will serve as our attendance for the whole week.

The boys played, while us girls, we wander around the campus trying booths such as, STEM
SOCIETY booth, where they offer kiss mark, and we bought stamps and put it all over our face, it was
fun. After a while we got tired from strolling around so we decided to eat and play UNO cards which is
son much fun because of the sudden betrayal during the game.
 We got bored by playing cards, so we go out to try marriage booth, I’m not getting married,
it’s my best friend and our other friends whom she holds dearly, and of course, we force them. They
look so good together, or circle of friend cheer them and squeal their lungs out as they exchanged vows
and some DIY rings, It’s cute and fascinating.

All of us were tired and just wanted to sit down, so we all went to the park near the second
gate. We all lay down at the grass, enjoying fresh breeze and resting. We ordered food from
McDonalds, and we enjoyed each other’s company, talking about stuffs while still having fun. We
waited until 3:00 pm just laying down, until we are allowed to go home. We still have lots of fun to do
tomorrow, and we’re hoping to enjoy all the booths wee didn’t explore today.

Overall, this is just day 1 and we still have 4 more days to enjoy. Judelyn, Mandi, Gan, and
Armannuel joined a competition to be held on Wednesday, and a battle od the bands together with
Renzo to be held on Thursday. So, I’m expecting a lot of new fun experience in 4 days. I hope fun is
fun.
