Introduction:
Small-scale industries play an essential role in the growth and development of any country's
economy. These industries help in providing employment opportunities, contribute to the
country's gross domestic product (GDP), and facilitate the process of industrialization.
However, managing a small-scale industry can be challenging due to limited resources and
personnel. Therefore, the application of effective management techniques can help small-
scale industries to enhance their performance and achieve their objectives.

Objective:
The primary objective of this study is to explore the management techniques applied to small-
scale industries and their impact on their overall performance.

Overview of Small Scale Industries:


Small scale industries are businesses that operate on a small scale and have limited capital,
resources, and workforce. These industries play a vital role in the development of the
economy as they provide employment opportunities, promote entrepreneurship, and
contribute to the GDP. Small scale industries can be classified into two categories, i.e.,
manufacturing and service-oriented. The management of small scale industries differs from
that of large-scale industries due to their limited resources and workforce.
