Going Back to School

Today is the first day of school for Mark. He


thinks that seventh grade is very interesting.
He starts school today. He is happy because
he will see all his friends again. He will have a
new teacher and perhaps some new
classmates. Mark is really excited to see all of
his friends from the sixth grade. When they
see each other, they greet and talk about their
summer vacation. His mom takes him to
school at 9:00 in the morning. He brings his
lunch. It has a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, an apple and
carrot sticks. He buys his milk at school. His mom told him he
could buy chocolate milk if he wants to. He loves to drink chocolate
milk. His mom will pick him up at the end of the day. She is
excited to hear all about his first day of school.
