Questions:

1. What classroom routines and procedures did you observe and how could you apply it to
promote essential learning?
- During the observation, I have observed that Sir Lance has classroom routines and
procedures as he goes to different classes in grade 9. As part of his daily routines in his
class, the first part is the prayer. He has already assigned students to lead the prayer, and
they are different scheduled students in every meeting. Another is the checking of
attendance, and afterwards is the “kamustahan serye”. Some procedures were observed in
this part when he conducted semester assessments. Sir Lance makes it a habit that in every
module, there will be a summative test to assess his students.

2. What is the effect to the learners if the teacher creates a safe and conducive learning
environment?

- Students benefit in multiple ways when a teacher creates a safe and encouraging
atmosphere for learning. First, they are more likely to participate fully in class and
feel emotionally secure. Second, they foster productive connections with peers and the
teacher by developing a deep sense of belonging. This raises their desire to learn as a
result. Students are also more likely to experiment with and convey their ideas in such
an environment, which encourages critical thinking and creativity. All things
considered, a secure and supportive learning environment promotes students'
intellectual advancement, emotional health, and personal growth.

Construct your own set of rules and regulations that will make your learning environment safe and
conducive.

Well-considered rules and regulations are necessary to create a safe and supportive learning
environment.
- Show respect to all individuals, including peers, teachers, and yourself. Respect the
opinions, backgrounds, and cultures of others. This promotes a peaceful and welcoming
environment.
- Engage fully in the discussions and activities held in class. This regulation promotes
participation and group learning.
- Make it to every class on time. Being on time guarantees that important instructional time is
not lost and sets a positive example.
- Bring the required supplies, including notebooks, textbooks, and assignments, to class.
Being ready reduces interruptions and maintains the learning objective.
- Any kind of disrespectful behavior, including bullying and harassment, will not be accepted.
All students' emotional safety is guaranteed by this regulation.
- Plagiarism and cheating are strictly forbidden. An environment that is just and fair for
learning requires academic integrity.
- When disagreements emerge, resolve them amicably and respectfully. Learn to compromise
and have open communication when resolving conflicts.
- Turn in homework and assignments on time. This regulation promotes accountability and
efficient use of time.
- Keep lines of communication open with educators. Please don't hesitate to ask for help or
clarification if you have any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a tidy and orderly workspace and classroom. A neat workspace encourages
wellbeing and concentration.
- When others are speaking, engage in active listening. This encourages clear understanding
and communication.
