CHEMISTRY LABORATORY NO.

DRAW ATLEAST 20 CHEMISTRY LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND DEFINE ITS USE.

Physics equipment:

 Battery eliminator

Electronic voltage regulator used to power a subsystem at a different voltage without the need for a
supplemental battery.

Potentiometer

 Instrument used to measure the unknown voltage by comparing it with the known voltage.

Convex Lens

 a piece of transparent material which concentrates or disperses light rays when passes through
them by refraction.

Magnet

 a material or object that produces a magnetic field.

Vernier Scale

 a visual aid to take an accurate measurement reading between two graduation markings on a
linear scale.

Devices:

Bunsen Burner

 named after Robert Bunsen, kind of ambient air gas burn, used for heating, sterilization, and
combustion.

Microscope

 used to examine objects that are too small to be seen by the naked eye.

Hot Plate

 a flat surface with heating elements.

Magnetic Stirrer

 a laboratory device that employs a rotating magnetic field to cause a stir bar immersed in a
liquid to spin very quickly.

Water Bath

 laboratory equipment made from a container filled with heated water.

Glassware:

Test tube.

widely used by chemists to hold, mix, or heat small quantities of solid or liquid chemicals, especially for
qualitative experiments and assays.

Breaker

a cylindrical container with a flat bottom

Flask

is a micro web framework written in Python. It is classified as a microframework because it does not
require tools or libraries.

Reagent bottles,

also known as media bottles or graduated bottles, are containers made of glass, plastic, borosilicate, or
related substances, and topped by special caps or stoppers.

funnels

are used in chemistry and other scientific experiments for funneling liquids or powders into containers
with narrow openings.

Safety equipment:

Protective eyewear

must be worn in all laboratory spaces where physical, biological, chemical hazards are present or
whenever there is a chance of an eye injury.

Lab Coat

white protective coat worn by workers in a laboratory.

Nitrile gloves

used when handling chemicals in laboratories.

Eyewashes

are for removing particles, chemicals, or other substances from your eyes.

Emergency showers and eyewash stations provide on-the-spot decontamination. They allow workers to
flush away hazardous products that can cause injury.
