PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter provides presentation of statistical data relative to the problems

posited. The corresponding analysis and interpretation of data are incorporated in this

portion of the study.

4. I am dealing with topics 3.34 Always 2

out of my satisfaction of

my interests.

5. I am pressured by 3.34 Always 2

physical related activities.

Average Weighted Mean =3.24 Always

According to the results tabulated above, facing multiple activities deadline

has the highest record of mean rating of 3.47 with the verbal interpretation of always

which ranked as first among all the indicators. Followed by having a lot of

competitors academically with the mean rating of 3. 46 and verbal interpretation of

always. According to Jhoselle Tus (2020) Academic performance is dependent on

multiple factors, two of which are stress and motivation. It is an essential aspect for

senior high school students as they are nearing college life and because having better

academic performance yields better opportunities in life. The context of existing

theories on motivation and stress may vary from these for the Filipino and Asian

students' unconscious views on motivation, stress, and learning in schools.

Average Weighted Mean =3.25 Sometimes

Having difficult time in communicating with others has the highest rating of

3.31 and with the verbal interpretation of always ranked first among all the indicators.

Followed by being worried of trusting other people with the mean rating of 3.27 and

with the verbal interpretation of always which makes it second in the ranking.

According to Angela L. Duckworth (2019) It is now well-established that negative

life events (e.g., parents divorcing or losing their jobs, close friends moving away)

predict increases in symptoms of child and adolescent psychopathology ).

4. I am pressured by my 3.21 Sometimes 4

personal problems.

5. I am sharing my 3.37 Always 2

problems to my friends

more than my family.

Average Weighted Mean =3.29 Always

Based on the tabulated table above dealing with one’s own problem

states the highest mean rating of 3.44 with a verbal interpretation of always

which means it is in the top of the table. Followed up by sharing their

problems to their friends more than their family with the rating count of 3.37

and verbal interpretation of Always that makes it in the second place.

According to Amanda J. Rose (2022) Friendships are critical relationships in

children's lives. In this chapter, the research methods used to children's

friendships are introduced. Then, proximal (social-cognitive and behavioral)

and more distal (family relationships) factors related to children's friendship

adjustment are considered. Family relationships, especially with parents, have

an important impact on children's friendships. Children's social

cognitive/emotional processes and social behavior also have implications for

friendship. Gender plays a significant role in children's friendships. In fact, sex

segregation is present throughout childhood. Despite strong sex segregation,

some children do have other-gender friends. During later childhood and early

adolescence, about 15–20% of friends are cross-gender friends. Racial and

ethnic differences in friendships also are of interest. Some studies examine

differences across countries, whereas others consider differences between

ethnic/racial groups within single countries. Friendships have long been

known to be important for children's psychological well-being.

TABLE 4

MY COMMON SOURCES OF STRESS

Indicators Mean Verbal Interpretation Rank

1. I am feeling under lots of 3.52 Always 2

pressure.

2. I am facing big changes in 3.49 Always 4

my life.

3. I am dealing with multiple 3.37 Always 5

tasks each subject.

4. I am pressured in meeting 3.95 Always 1

deadlines.

5. I am expecting a lot of 3.51 Always 3

activities weekly.

Average Weighted Mean =3.56 Always

Being pressured in meeting deadlines achieved the highest mean

rating of 3.95 with the verbal interpretation of always and ranked first among

all the indicators. Second in rank is the item feeling under lots of pressure.

Which achieved 3.29 weighted mean and verbal interpretation of always.

According to Fuyuki Ishikawa (2017) Nowadays it is becoming more and more

attractive to execute workflow applications in the cloud because it enables

workflow applications to use computing resources on demand. Meanwhile, it

also challenges traditional workflow scheduling algorithms that only

concentrate on optimizing the execution time. This paper investigates how to

minimize execution cost of a workflow in clouds under a deadline constraint

and proposes a metaheuristic algorithm L-ACO as well as a simple heuristic

ProLiS. ProLiS distributes the deadline to each task, proportionally to a novel

definition of probabilistic upward rank, and follows a two-step list scheduling

methodology: rank tasks and sequentially allocates each task a service which

meets the sub-deadline and minimizes the cost. L-ACO employs ant colony

optimization to carry out deadline-constrained cost optimization: the ant

constructs an ordered task list according to the pheromone trail and

probabilistic upward rank, and uses the same deadline distribution and

service selection methods as ProLiS to build solutions. Moreover, the

deadline is relaxed to guide the search of L-ACO towards constrained

optimization. Experimental results show that compared with traditional

algorithms, the performance of ProLiS is very competitive and L-ACO

performs the best in terms of execution costs and success ratios of meeting

deadlines.
Chapter 5

Summary of Findings, Conclusion, and Recommendation

This chapter presents the summary of findings from the conducted

study. Conclusion were also drawn from the information gathered from the

respondents. In the end, recommendations were done to share suggestions to

future researchers of the same venture.

Summary of Findings

1. Facing multiple activities deadlines played a major role in participant’s

academic career. The findings revealed that facing multiple activity deadlines

were more distinct to students with academic pressure.

2. The findings showed that having difficulty in communicating with others is

dominant when it comes to conflicts in social expectations. In social

interactions communicating is where everything starts, followed by gaining

trusts of others that’s why when we’re starting a conversation we are having

social expectations and issues.

3. The findings revealed that dealing with one self’s problem is one of the

major problem when it comes to dealing with personal of family problem, and

relates to Paul Heppner (2015) our definition of problem solving differs from

that previous writers in some important ways. Anderson (1998) focuses

primarily on cognitive operations and defines problem solving as any goal -

directed sequence of cognitive operations.

4. Based on the findings, students experiencing meeting early deadlines in

their activity, and aligns with Florence Aduke (2015) time management is as

important as human and material resources in any organization. From

observation, poor time planners seem to be faced with low productivity,

inefficiency, ineffectiveness and low morale, stress and frustration with

themselves. Time is always available although it waits for no one, and is no

respecter of gender as reflected in the research conducted by Omolola (2010)

that both male and female undergraduate are affected by time management.

Conclusions

1. Procrastination is the act of delaying or putting off tasks until the last minute, or

past their deadline. Some researchers define procrastination as a "form of self-

regulation failure characterized by the irrational delay of tasks despite potentially

negative consequences."

2. Communication is our way of interacting with other people People can experience

difficulties when communicating with others due to speech, language or

communication needs. These difficulties can be the result of illness, injury, disability,

learning difficulties, sensory impairments, autism spectrum conditions or language

barriers.

3. These strategies included engaging in self-care practices such as pursuing hobbies,

participating in physical exercise, and utilizing relaxation techniques. Students also

found comfort in seeking support from friends, family, and trusted individuals.

Additionally, participants reported the benefits of maintaining a positive mindset,

practicing mindfulness, and seeking professional assistance when needed.

4. In conclusion, the study determined that Grade 12 HUMSS students face unique

stressors that impact their mental well-being, particularly through intense negative

thoughts and feelings of isolation. Nevertheless, by adopting diverse mental

approaches such as self-care, seeking social support, and maintaining a positive

mindset, students can effectively manage stress and alleviate negative thoughts and

feelings of loneliness.
