Teacher: Now we come to the last module of the course which is the
Revisiting the 14 Learner-Centered Psychological Principles.

Teacher: This 14 Principles, aids us to become more efficient that


responses on the need for outcome-based instructional material.

C. Establishing a purpose for the


lesson Congratulations! You all come to the last Module. This last Module.
This last module is intended for you to summarize and integrate your
most valuable learning and insights gained in this subject.

D. Motivation

Teacher: Class, what is the image telling us? What is your realization
as a student and as a future educator?

Student 3: Give her realization.

Teacher: Yes! All answers are correct! The image tells us about the
possible needs inside a classroom through the help of a student and
a teacher.

Student 1: TEACH and LEARN

2. What relationship does the clip art show about these two
words?

Student 2: Teaching and learning is always intertwined in many


ways. A teacher should learn while teaching and students should
always bear in mind that they need to learn, and for that to happen,
they should listen to.

3. What message do you get from this clip art? Relate it to


your own role as a future teacher?

Student 3: As a future teacher the clipart impart to me that it doesn’t


mean that I should stop learning. Thus it should be continuous, since
things are upgrading and nothing stays. Learning is a lifelong learning
process, especially that student’s from the 21st century are going to
be more brilliant than expected.

E. Discussion Teacher: Facilitation learning should be firmly anchored on the 14


Learner-Centered Psychological Principles. The 14 principles
espouse that everyone in the learning community is a learner, not just
the student.

The Clip art above expresses this view that to teach allows you to
learn and that when you have learned well, you can teach well.

There is mutuality in leaning. Student learn from teachers. Student


learn from one another. And more important for to remember,
teachers learn from student.

F. Finding practical application


Instruction: Re-read the Learner Centered Psychological Principles
found on Module 2. Recall the main points of the Principles. As you
are reading, exert efforts to link each of the 14 principles to something
you learned from Module 1 to 25. You may do this by also going back
what you wrote in the 5-minutes non-stop writing portion at the end
of the Module.

Teacher:
Facilitating learning should be truly anchored on the 14 learner
centered psychological principles. The14 principles espouse that
everyone in the learning community is a learner, not just the student.

The clip art above expresses this view that to teach allows you
to learn and that when you have learned well, you can teach well.
There is mutuality in learning. Students learn from teachers. Students
learn from one another. And more important for you to remember,
teachers learn from students. Learners are at the center of the
learning process.

The criticisms of direct instruction have led to put more


emphasis on the role of the students in the learning process. Many
opted for a more student-centered environment as opposed to the
traditional teacher-centered set-up. Learners are given more choices.

also to divide you into three (3) groups. And each group has it
designated level to be observed.
