Practical Examination for class XI (2023-2024)
Dear Students,
This is to notify all of you that your Physics (042) PRACTICAL EXAMINATION will be held from 12th
February to 16th February 2024.
The time slots and the format of the examination are as follows:
DAYS SLOT 1/Period 1st and 2nd SLOT 2/ Period 3rd & 4th SLOT 3/Period 5th & 6th
Monday Class A2+C2 Class B2
Tuesday Class B3
Thursday Class B1 Class A1
Friday Class B4 Class C1

• Students appearing for the examination in 1st and 2nd period must report to their classes
after morning assembly within 8.40 am. The examination will commence exactly from
8.45am.

• Students appearing for the examination in 3rd and 4th period must report to their classes
on before 10.00 am. The examination will commence exactly from 10.05 am.

• Students appearing for the examination in 5th and 6th period must report to their classes
on before 11.40 am. The examination will commence exactly from 11.45 am.
The examination will consist assessment in three parts

1. The Practical’s performed by the student throughout the year and record keeping.
2. Assessment of the Practical performed by the students.
3. VIVA VOCE.
General Instructions

• All students must bring their completed Practical files/Copy on the day of examination. The
student will have to perform one Practical in the lab as per the instructions and appear for the
Viva.
• The student must carry proper geometry box, pencil, sharpener, eraser and must write using
blue ball pen only.
• The student has to clearly mention the aim, materials required, theory, diagrams, observations,
calculations, graphs, precaution and sources of error.
• The Assessment Scheme of the Practical Examination is provided underneath.

NOTE BY THE EXAMINER:

Dear Students,
Please make sure to complete your Practical’s and bring them on Examination Day. Also, appearing for the
examination is mandatory. This will be your final internal assessment for Term II – 2024. Total Internal
assessment is out of 30 Marks. Failing to comply with the date provided for examination or adapting any
unfair means will be REPORTED AGAINST.
