INTRODUCTION

By now, it is no question why Tagaytay City remains to be one of the most popular tourist destinations in the
Philippines.

Aside from the cooler climate, the place is also well-known for its slew of breathtaking views of nature and an
exciting range of commercial establishments. Apart from being an excellent weekend destination, however,
Tagaytay proves to be one of the best cities in the Philippines to retire. Given its proximity to Metro Manila,
Tagaytay is seemingly a rural location most people can see themselves living in without entirely having to let go
of the metropolis. Moreover, it is also renowned for its cool climate all year round complemented by its
abundance of breathtaking and natural ambiance of tall trees and lush verdant landscapes. If you are quite
lucky, you might even spot a location where you can easily wake up to a view of the Taal Lake. With Tagaytay’s
growing allure as a premier residential location, it is inevitable for real estate developers and investors to take
an interest. Over the years, quite a number of Tagaytay properties have found their way into the city. With that
said, finding an ideal and appropriate lot for sale in Tagaytay will probably come easy given the city’s vast
selection of residential properties. Tagaytay, while only being an hour away from the metropolis, is a fully
developed city. And while it may have its slew of commercial establishments over the years, the city is

POSITIVE

- One of the positive impacts of Tagaytay is it increases the tourism rates here in our country.

- Tagaytay is one of the places that we can enjoy and relax. It has a calm surrounding that can make people
attract to visit there.

- There’s a lot of things there that we can try and have an experience to encounter like riding a horse and
different outside activities. A lot of it can make the traveller more enjoy the scenery and the place itself.

- A lot of people love tagaytay because of it’s beautiful tourist attractions.

- A lot of businesses in tagaytay are getting bigger and successful because there’s so many tourists that come
there.

- There’s so many activities that you can do in tagaytay where you can bond with your friends and family.

- A lot of people visits tagaytay because of its beautiful views and scenery. And they also come here to relax and
have a good time.

NEGATIVE

- Since the place is located in a high area, Tagaytay is dangerous when earthquakes occur.

- Road capacity. The major road that leading to the city already have moderate to heavy traffic throughout the
year. This happens mostly during weekends and holiday season.

- One of the negative impacts of tourism in tagaytay is it become more over populated because of many people
visits and some people choose to live here.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Provide recommendations to improve the listed positive impacts of tourism in the

Destination/attraction

- Tagaytay is one of a tourist destination with a mild climate and fresh air, so that it can be maintained
properly, let’s start with the cleanliness of the environment such as throwing garbage in the right trash
can, avoid too much smoke from vehicles or pubrica, and above all avoid will cut trees that give us air.
- Tagaytay is one of the most visited places in the south because of its unique scenery. In order for it to
improve, let’s take care of our environment by simply following the posted signs for example Do not etc.
To improve views on the ridge
- Have an experience to encounter like riding a horse and different outside activities. In order for this to
improve, the tourist guides must guide the tourists well so that the activities they will do are improved,
such as horse riding, teach the tourists properly for their safety.

SOLUTION

• Provide solutions to reduce the listed negative impacts of tourism in the destination/attraction.

- Earthquakes, We cannot prevent natural earthquakes from occurring but we can significantly mitigate
their effects by identifying hazards, building safer structures, and providing education on earthquake
 safety. So in order to improve everything when it happens, let’s just pray that everyone will be safe and
that the beautiful scenery of the ridge will not be damaged.
- Road capacity (traffic). Using public transportation is one of the obvious solutions to reduce the impact
of traffic congestion. For tourists who want to go to the ridge, to avoid traffic, go on weekdays.
- Overpopulated, in order to reduce those who live on the ridge and not add more, the government
should act, prohibit the encouragement of living on the ridge because the place for tourists is getting
crowded.
