Kosher Guidelines

Londolozi Kitchen is not a certified Kosher Kitchen. However, with enough notice, we are more than
happy to order and prepare any Kosher food in the following way and style.

• All Kosher Food is ordered in from Johannesburg in a raw / fresh state from Kosher
World in Johannesburg.
• All Kosher Food is kept separate.
• For Orthodox Kosher Guests - All Kosher Food is cooked in separate pots and pans and
double wrapped when in the oven.
• We are aware of the Kosher Rule of not mixing Dairy and Meat. No Pork. No Shellfish
and whatever other dietary may be attached. We also understand the concept of Pareve.

Fish & Meat Ordering

• We order in a selection of meat, closest to what we are serving on our menu for our other
guests stay.
• This can be anything from Fillet of Beef to Chickens, Cold Meats, Sausages, Lamb Chops
and Smoked Salmon.
• We also receive a delicious supply of Norwegian Salmon which is deemed pareve as well.
• For our very strict Kosher Guests – we cook the food in the above system, and we also
have what we call our “Kosher Kit” which is a completely separate set of crockery &
cutlery as well as cooking utensils, which we make available solely for our Kosher guests use.

At Londolozi, we assist all our guests with any of their dietary requirements to the best of our abilities.

** Kosher World, located in Johannesburg, contains a vast range of local and imported Kosher
ingredients. Kosher World holds a Kashrut License and the meats that they produce is Mehadrin and
Mehadrin Commissioned. The dairy is Chalav Yisroel, Beth Din Kosher and Vegan. The Deli is
Mehadrin Commission and Chalav Yisroel.
