Activity 3.1

As a Salettinian student, identify one (1) situation wherein you can

demonstrate each of the 5 tenets of Taekwondo.
1. COURTESY

The situation in which you can show each of the five Taekwondo tenets is similar to that of a
college student. The first is that you must Courtesy in the sense that you must be a good
person in the eyes of all your classmates and professors. This will benefit you in your college
life since you will be able to communicate with people and ask for help or questions when you
need it. Furthermore, having a pleasant environment can assist you in reducing academic
stress.

2. INTEGRITY

Almost every student cheats in Integrity, as we all know. And we're all aware of the negative
consequences of cheating. Having integrity in your college life can therefore help you not only
to progress intellectually but also to prepare yourself for future work.

3. PERSEVERANCE

Perseverance. This is an important tenet that can be used in the classroom. We need perseverance
to complete all of these tasks as our studies become more tough each semester and the
requirements become more difficult. We tend to give up because of the load in us when we grow
tired of it, especially when we throw in our personal troubles, but we must endure in order to
graduate.

4. SELF-CONTROL

Self-discipline. What good doe’s self-control do at college, we could assert? To begin with, leading a
disciplined lifestyle can assist you in graduating more quickly and successfully. There will be
numerous temptations, such as wanting to go out instead of going to class, napping instead of going
to class, procrastinating, and so on. Basically, if we lack self-control, we are more likely to do things
when a deadline approaches. We procrastinate a lot, which might hinder our progress as college
students.
5. INDOMITABLE SPIRIT

Fighting spirit, or indomitable spirit, is a term used to describe a spirit that is unbreakable. This is
where you are so determined to succeed despite the challenges you may face. You are very
motivated to attend class, seminars, and programs, complete your obligations, and study diligently; in
short, you are very keen to complete your studies and nothing will stand in your way.

in the development of my muscles. As a result, my body's rate will raise, aiding in the burning of
calories. It also aids in the improvement of my body's oxygen levels and blood flow.

results in these conditioning activities?

think learning taekwondo with friends is more fun.
