Uniqueness of Palawan

The province of Palawan has different species, tourist

attractions, and lots of fun things to do, like bird watching, scuba
diving, and hiking beautiful places. I could already sense the
vacation energy.
To write this speech, I need to do some research and
reading. I was not really a fan of reading before, so I took a little
imaginative vacation along with my reading. I know it sounds
boring but if I didn’t and I didn’t have something to put in my
speech, I don’t have a speech and if I don’t have a speech then I
don’t have a grade.
Do I want that? No, of course. So I did some reading, a lot
of reading, perhaps. It was fun, truly. It extended my knowledge
and helped me determine facts I did not know before.
Like, Palawan has the most pristine natural environment
away from its settlements, and when we say pristine, it means
unspoiled or in other words, “Untouched by human hands”. But
obviously, because “we” the citizens of Palawan who live here
already know that Palawan is not pristine anymore.
Still, it is not a hindrance to stop Palawan from being the
most beautiful Island. The environment is well preserved like, the
beaches, crystal clear warm turquoise water and has endemic
animals that can only be found in Palawan.
One of them is the fantabulous Peacock-Pheasant, locally
known as “Tandikan”. Something so dazzling and extravagant,
you wouldn’t expect this bird to be extremely shy and elusive.
They are difficult to find, and when they sense danger, it will
quickly disappear.
It is also considered one of the most attractive peafowls in
the world. Why you say? Why wouldn’t it be, if you can probably
understand by just looking at it? The feathers and its colors are
completely different from other peacocks.
Even more interesting about this species besides their
appearance is that, it can only be seen here in Palawan, even
presented in the official seal of Puerto Princesa. It serves as a
symbol of conservation effort not only its species but all fauna
that are threatened with extinction.
Stating these as treasures of Palawan, this is what makes
Palawan a great island. Pristine natural resources form south to
north, crystal blue waters, wide ranges of attractions, and world
class diving spots all over the island.
To say that Palawan offers an extensive range of attractions
and things to do, with an endless list of idyllic islands and bless
with rich marine biodiversity, which is why it has some of the
best diving spots. Bird watching, the fact that natural sites are
well preserved and has overwhelming environment, because of
the endemic birds. Hiking, considering it has a rich rainforest that
covers the minimal rich and captivating mountains.
All these natural resources which are much preserved by
people influences their lifestyle and culture. With this in mind, the
way of how they choose their clothing is also affected.
Since Palawan is also known for its tropical rainforest
climate, which is usually warmer and cold at some time, people
here tends to have a light and layered clothes, which is
comfortable and accordingly to its climate. That is why, our
model wore this concept. Presenting Palawan along with
representing the people of Palawan. Gorgeous and hot.
Palawan is the most beautiful island among others, the
environment which makes it beautiful reflects the people and their
lifestyle. A life affirming expression of your character and spirit
which makes Palawan, remarkable and beyond comparison.
