Once upon a time, a farmer and his wife were blessed with a beautiful baby girl.
They pampered her and refused to let her do any farm work. They showered her with
attention, too much attention.
She grew up into a beautiful maiden and she knew it. One day, she was admiring her
beauty in the river. She didn’t know she was being watched by a creature.
The crab was roaming around the river like he usually do every once a week, but
today was different, the crab saw a beautiful young girl from a distance, the crab was
mesmerized by her beauty.
The crab was a flame to talk to the beautiful girl, so he walked towards the girl and
was astonished once more because the girl was even more beautiful close up, the crab said
“I’m interested in a friendship with you” the beautiful girl was shocked at what the crab said
and she found him ugly so she automatically said “no!! I don’t want to be friends with a
horrid-looking creature!”
She then shoved the crab away, the crab was flabbergasted. The crab was
displeased by the beautiful girl’s attitude; the girl didn’t know that she humiliated the king of
the crabs, then got closer to girl’s face and then he scratched the girl’s face with his claws,
the king of the crab used his power to curse the girl to become fish covered with lots of
scale.
Then the girl ran away and tried to wash her wounds but these hardened into scales
turning her into a fish full of scales.
