There are two ty pes of communication cables: RS-485 cable f or connecting the battery to the CSU, and

This cable is required when the ZXDC48 FB100B3 battery is used together with the new power supply of
Battery 4
ZTE and the sy stem needs to manage the ZXDC48 FB100B3 battery. Otherwise, this cable does not need
to be connected. In most cases, a f inished RS-485 communication cable is used (If the f inished cable
does not meet the on-site requirements, prepare a cable on site). One end of the f inished cable includes
two tubular connectors (marked with A and B), and the other end is a 2-core 3.81 connector. Connect PE busbar
tubular connectors A and B to the 4-core 3.81 connector (with a matching resistance) of the accessory of
the battery.
Connect the 4-core 3.81 connector and the 2-core 3.81 connector to the f irst communication interf ace of Battery 3
the battery and the communication interf ace corresponding to the power supply sy stem respectiv ely.
Inter-battery 4-core cascading cable
This cable is used f or communication between batteries.
If more than two batteries are connected in parallel, y ou need to connect matching resistors to the f irst and
last batteries, see the f ollowing f igure.
5. Connect pow er cables. Remove the protective cover of the pow er cables, and connect Battery 2
the positive terminal and negative terminal of the battery system to the positive terminal and
CSU RS-485 negative terminal of the pow er system respectively. Note the polarities of the input and
interf ace output terminals and connect them correctly. show s the positive and negative terminals of
the battery system. See the figure below .

Before connecting a lead-acid battery to the ACB in the pow er subrack, By using a back-end PC, verify that the batteries are in mixed mode. The charging
