INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES


1. The candidates should carry a COLOUR print out of this Admit Card to the test venue.
2. The candidates should also carry a valid photo identity proof in original (Passport/Driving Licence/Voter ID/PAN Card/Aadhaar
Card/College ID Card) for verification.
3. All candidates will be thoroughly frisked, and they should cooperate for the frisking activity.
4. Any candidate who will not be cooperating for the frisking process will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
5. Candidates shall be admitted to the Examination Hall only 30 minutes before the commencement of examination and shall leave latest
by 10 minutes after the examination is over.
6. No candidate will be permitted to enter examination hall after the commencement of the examination and be allowed to leave the hall
before 30 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
7. Wallets, Books, periodicals, any written material, mobile phones, calculators, laptops or any other electronic gadgets, including
digital/programmable watches, are not allowed in the examination hall. Personal belongings including mobile phones or any other
portable electronic device shall be kept outside the examination room at candidate’s own risk. The candidates are advised not to bring
valuables and any other personal belongings of high value while coming for the tests and the test centre shall not be responsible in case
the item is/ are lost or a theft occurs of such items which are brought to the test centre.
8. The test will be on-line and will be of 2 hours duration. Other instructions about the test will be given at the start of the examination.
9. The Admit Card duly signed by the candidate in the presence of the invigilator shall be collected by the invigilator during/after the test.
10. Candidates are required to reach the Test Venue LATEST by the Reporting Time mentioned above. Late comers shall not be allowed for
the test.
11. A candidate found using any unfair means or in possession of any incriminating material during the test shall be expelled from the
examination hall and his/her test would be cancelled.
12. One Pen and one 4-page rough book shall be provided to the candidate for carrying out rough workings during the test. This sheet needs
to be returned to the test administrator before leaving the test venue. NO EXTRA ROUGH SHEET(S) WILL BE PROVIDED.
13. With regard to conduct of examination, decision of Invigilator/Centre Superintendent shall be final and binding.
14. No Change in Date of Computer Based Test is permitted. However, request for change in Test City if any subject to availability of seats
will be considered up to 23 January 2024. Please email your requests through your registered email id to admission@xim.edu.in within
the above specified date.
15. Candidates will be under the CCTV surveillance throughout the test duration.
16. Certifying and signing the self-declaration (provided below) is MANDATORY.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATION


1. On the Computer Screen available in front of you, you are required to type your Roll Number & PASSWORD as indicated in your Admit
Card.
2. Please read the on-screen Instructions Sheet carefully.
3. You are requested to avoid touching the wires and cables as it could lead to the computer shutting down.
4. In case you face any technical issue while logging into the examination or at any time during the examination, please contact the
Invigilator immediately to address the issue.
5. X-GMT consists of Four Sections.
6. The Question Paper consists of objective type multiple choice questions with 4 options out of which only one is correct.
7. There is a TIMER (Clock) available on the TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER of the Screen which will show you the time remaining for the
completion of the section.
8. Every correct answer will get 3 marks. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions. There is negative marking (One Mark) for
each wrong answer.
9. If the examination does not commence at the scheduled time or is interrupted midway due to any technical snag or for any other reason,
candidates should follow the instructions of the exam functionaries. They may have to wait patiently till the issue is suitably addressed
and resolved. In case, the problem is major and cannot be resolved for any reason, their examination may be rescheduled for which the
candidates would be duly intimated.
