[weighed] three hundred [shekels] of brass in weight, he being girded with a new [sword], thought to have slain David. Continue in prayer, and watch
in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for
which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in
the feast which [was] in the seventh month. And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I
command you this day. If not; speak thou. What [is] my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me? But David took not the number of them from
twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens. Jesus answered them, Verily,
verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the
great and the terrible day of the LORD come. Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up [his] heel
against me. There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge [are] a precious jewel. And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among
all manner of beasts that go on [all] four, those [are] unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even. But if the
wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. And when he had brought them into his house, he set
meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. But who is
able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him
away in the night. The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven
and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon
the altar: it [is] a burnt offering unto the LORD: it [is] a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD. And he settled his countenance
stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept. Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; He may prepare
[it], but the just shall put [it] on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto
me. Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And behold a
wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits [long] by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he
measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they
shall be [as thorns] in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you. And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a
loud voice, Cursed [be] the man that maketh [any] graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and
putteth [it] in [a] secret [place]. And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. The high places also of Aven, the sin of
Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the
hills, Fall on us. And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring [him] to me. And they lodged round about the
house of God, because the charge [was] upon them, and the opening thereof every morning [pertained] to them. If the clouds be full of rain, they
empty [themselves] upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall
be. And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark
sentences, shall stand up. And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, [even] to the children of Heth. And all the vessels of
the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all [these] he
brought to Babylon. The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my
people. And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai;
Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD. Destroy thou them, O God; let
them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. Moreover the LORD
stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that [were] near the Ethiopians: And they came up into Judah, and
brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king’s house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a
son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons. And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children
of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew,
and multiplied exceedingly. He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of
Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram. Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase [it], rase [it,
even] to the foundation thereof. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have
eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and
ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence
ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. And the standard of the camp of
the children of Dan set forward, [which was] the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host [was] Ahiezer the son of
Ammishaddai. But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? I know that he can speak well. Now if the fall of them
[be] the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? And every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth [shall be] an abomination; it shall not be eaten. And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up
the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD. When he arose, he took the young child
and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by
the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel,
Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed;
[as] Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which [were] in Thelasar? I would hasten my escape from the windy storm [and] tempest.
These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and
saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them. His
countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead [men]. And at the
fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David,
even unto the water gate eastward. Husbands, love [your] wives, and be not bitter against them. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your
faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness
brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. And he did so. And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done
to us. Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous [there is] favour. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. Whoso [is] wise,
and will observe these [things], even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD. And he made the staves [of] shittim wood, and overlaid
them with brass. He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret. Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of
thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall
not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his [righteousness] in the day that
he sinneth. And if he smite out his manservant’s tooth, or his maidservant’s tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth’s sake. But from the
beginning of the creation God made them male and female. Thou shalt not commit adultery. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as
wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath
given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. And he set the
Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer,
and Nathan the prophet: for [so was] the commandment of the LORD by his prophets. It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD,
and will return every one from his evil way: for great [is] the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people. Save, LORD:
let the king hear us when we call. And the watchman said, Me thinketh the running of the foremost is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.
Who [is] this [that] cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers? [why] hidest thou thy face from me? Farewell. And they said,
Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy
angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. So
the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth [between] the cherubims:
and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, [were] there with the ark of the covenant of God. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This [is it] that the
LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. We looked for peace, but no good
[came; and] for a time of health, and behold trouble! The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the
neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein. I praise
[you] not. Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be
eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which
he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king. And it came to pass, when they brought out those
kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put
your feet upon the necks of these kings. And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods. Thou that sayest a man should not
commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast
made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast [now] made known unto us the king’s matter. How long, LORD? And it came to pass, when
king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying,
Lay hold on him. Art thou Elias? His hands [are as] gold rings set with the beryl: his belly [is as] bright ivory overlaid [with] sapphires. The
LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all
that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let
me see this great fire any more, that I die not. For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore [it is] of necessity
that this man have somewhat also to offer. Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying
strange wives? For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How
shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard
[him]; God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own
will? And all the people shall say, Amen. The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; [therefore] shall he beg in harvest, and [have] nothing.
The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the
LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes,
the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of
the LORD, that he might be glorified. Therefore it is come to pass, [that] as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not
hear, saith the LORD of hosts: But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Then Peter arose and went with them.
And he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair
the house of your God from year to year, and see that ye hasten the matter. So he drew off his shoe. But that no man is justified by the law in the
sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith. He also [shall be] my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him. And I
heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand
talents. Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God [is] among you, a mighty God and terrible. Ye have sown much, and bring in
little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages
earneth wages [to put it] into a bag with holes. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

and laid [their] hands on them, they sent [them] away. Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your
fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and [seen] that which is done to you in
Egypt: And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and
the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that
ye may tell [it] to the generation following. Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass [is] molten [out of] the stone. The LORD said moreover unto
me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told [it] my father nor my mother, and shall I tell
[it] thee? For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he
is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what
further need have we of witnesses? How think ye? And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest [between] the
cherubims, thou art the God, [even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. Write the things which thou hast
seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the
seven golden candlesticks. Did [ever] people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? Take ye
heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in
his heart. And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. For all [of] my father’s house were but
dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table. And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz
the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, [that] Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward
Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that
prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, [and] not out of the mouth of the LORD. And I will establish my
covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after
thee. And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and

soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead. [Now] the queen, by reason of the words of the king and his lords, came into the banquet
house: [and] the queen spake and said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble thee, nor let thy countenance be changed: There is a man
in thy kingdom, in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the
gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, [I say], thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers,
Chaldeans, [and] soothsayers; Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard
sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the
interpretation. And when the sons of the prophets which [were] to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. But
Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the
quarrel of [my] covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into
the hand of the enemy. Thou shalt not be afraid of them: [but] shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; The
great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God
brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid. But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an

offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.

come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? And it was [so], when Elijah heard [it], that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and
went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates [of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, [and]
twined [linen]. But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me. Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and
ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers [did], so [do] ye. Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that [were]
not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable
iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good. So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an

why hast thou forsaken me? (She [is] loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: Now [is she] without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait
at every corner.) So she caught him, and kissed him, [and] with an impudent face said unto him, [I have] peace offerings with me; this day have I
