And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in

honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken. Have ye
forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the
wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they
have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem? Owe no man any thing, but
to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. [or] canst thou mark
when the hinds do calve? But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever:
a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom. And every man that hath this hope in
him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. This is the stone which was set at nought of you
builders, which is become the head of the corner. To him that made great lights: for his mercy
[endureth] for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy [endureth] for ever: The moon and
stars to rule by night: for his mercy [endureth] for ever. He taketh away the heart of the chief
of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness [where there is] no way.
And it shall come to pass, [that] every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the
rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these
waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the
river cometh. Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy [endureth] for ever: And hath
redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy [endureth] for ever. And Jesus said unto him, Thou
sayest. Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him. For all

Judah reigned. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more
than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she
of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. Six days thou shalt eat unleavened
bread: and on the seventh day [shall be] a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no
work [therein]. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, [even] a
blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed [be]
Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance. And devout men
carried Stephen [to his burial], and made great lamentation over him. The floor and the
winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her. Do not my words do good to
him that walketh uprightly? And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the
Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became
Pharaoh’s. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have
bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will
say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be
called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine
head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in
secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. But the men that went
up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they [are] stronger than we.
And likewise for the north side in length [there shall be] hangings of an hundred [cubits] long,
and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets [of] brass; the hooks of the pillars and their
fillets [of] silver. He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me
desolate. And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? And these [are] the sons of Aholibamah
Esau’s wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these [were] the dukes [that came] of
Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the
great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east
might be prepared. Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for
in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. And they said
unto him, Caesar’s. Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in
wait in the vineyards; And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in
dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of
Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin. Wot ye not that such a man as I can certainly divine?
And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and
kneaded [it], and did bake unleavened bread thereof: And she brought [it] before Saul, and
before his servants; and they did eat. These [are] the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests
which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office. And their coast was
Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that
[is] before Rabbah; And from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the
border of Debir; And in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest
of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and [his] border, [even] unto the edge of the
sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward. But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou
hast been wroth with thine anointed. Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and
languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. All the saints salute you,
chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household. [Thou] whom I have taken from the ends of the
earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou [art] my servant; I
have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he
did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And he answered
him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly. For this cause God gave them
up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is
against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their
lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in
themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. For in the eighth year of his reign,
while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth
year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved
images, and the molten images. For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my
soul take counsel together, Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for [there
is] none to deliver [him]. Then the king said, Hang him thereon. O Judah, what shall I do unto
thee? Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote
him under the fifth [rib], that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died
in the same place: and it came to pass, [that] as many as came to the place where Asahel fell
down and died stood still. They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the
wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right
of the needy do they not judge. But I [am] poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me
up on high. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If
any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or [be] in a

king’s high house, that [was] by the court of the prison. Behold, to obey [is] better than
sacrifice, [and] to hearken than the fat of rams. The LORD shall reign for ever and ever. And
these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world,
and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and
it becometh unfruitful. And he saith, Master, say on. After it a voice roareth: he thundereth
with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. But they

cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD;
Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he
offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt
upon thee. And king David [himself] followed the bier. Hear another parable: There was a certain
householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it,
and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: And when the time
of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the
fruits of it. Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of
a shekel for the service of the house of our God; For the shewbread, and for the continual
meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the
set feasts, and for the holy [things], and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for
Israel, and [for] all the work of the house of our God. When thou criest, let thy companies
deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take [them]: but he that
putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain; And shall
say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my
people. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the

the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not
covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all
gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church
of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the
devil. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of
gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

the merchantmen, and of the traffick of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and
of the governors of the country. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth
to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. And they that had laid hold on
Jesus led [him] away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were
assembled. We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our
Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; Knowing, brethren beloved, your election
of God. And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and the
breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary [and] the most holy [place]. And God
spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring
them into bondage, and entreat [them] evil four hundred years. But now [are they] many members,
yet but one body. At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the
nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they
walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. And Jesus answered and said unto her,

forepart of the chambers, the length thereof [was] fifty cubits. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD!
behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine;
but I will give you assured peace in this place. And he said unto them, What advice give ye that
we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke
that thy father did put upon us? And [now] I have this day declared [it] to you; but ye have not
obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any [thing] for the which he hath sent me unto you.
Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And they gathered them together upon
heaps: and the land stank. In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the
cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the
cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth [them], saith
the LORD. And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head:

the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
[They that were] full have hired out themselves for bread; and [they that were] hungry ceased:
so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. Though ye
offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept [them]: neither will I

children in whom [is] no faith. For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your
state. Of the sons of Hashum; Mattenai, Mattathah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Jeremai, Manasseh, [and]

which Moses divided from the men that warred, (Now the half [that pertained unto] the
congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand [and] seven thousand and five
hundred sheep, And thirty and six thousand beeves, And thirty thousand asses and five hundred,
And sixteen thousand persons;) Even of the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one portion of
fifty, [both] of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the
tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not muzzle
the ox when he treadeth out [the corn]. Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge
rather than choice gold. And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD. In
the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. Every valley shall be
exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight,

[it] together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it]. And all that heard him were
astonished at his understanding and answers. My beloved [is] unto me [as] a cluster of camphire

pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And
all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote
their breasts, and returned. And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by
little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase
upon thee. Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in
the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. And he was with her hid in the
house of the LORD six years. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that
wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the

brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and [that] the filthiness of it may be molten in it,
[that] the scum of it may be consumed. Whosoever [he be] that doth rebel against thy
commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be
put to death: only be strong and of a good courage. For this is the will of God, [even] your
sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how
to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as
the Gentiles which know not God: That no [man] go beyond and defraud his brother in [any]
matter: because that the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and
testified. And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders
and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried [him] away, and delivered [him]

thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. And when he was demanded of
the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of
God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the
kingdom of God is within you. Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and
Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal. But I will declare for ever; I
will sing praises to the God of Jacob. Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house

come. Then they took away the stone [from the place] where the dead was laid. But in his estate
shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with
gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Canst thou set the dominion
thereof in the earth? He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others; Because they
turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways: So that they cause the cry of the
poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted. They run and prepare themselves
without [my] fault: awake to help me, and behold. Only the firstling of the beasts, which should
be the LORD’S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether [it be] ox, or sheep: it [is] the
LORD’S. 1Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of
thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name. Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? If the
LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth
with milk and honey. 1Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon;
and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants
according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that [there is] not among us any that
can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians. Or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus
Christ our Lord. And when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day,
David sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread, or ought else, till the

hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the
gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and [all] the house of his armour, and all that
was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that
Hezekiah shewed them not. Then said the high priest, Are these things so? And he took up his

know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh
is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of
God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and
even now already is it in the world. [There is] none like unto the God of Jeshurun, [who] rideth
upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. Abhor that which is evil; cleave
to that which is good. A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; [and] with
the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep
and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be
turned into joy. But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah,
the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he

a napkin: For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst
not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh
unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. Then said he, What
have they seen in thine house? The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have
built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but [if] thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear
[it]. And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by
faith. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the
heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a
little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. And she said, Oh my lord, [as] thy soul

master. For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he
hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead. Afterward he brought me to
the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on
the other side, [which was] the breadth of the tabernacle. And we are witnesses of all things
which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a
tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto
witnesses chosen before of God, [even] to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from
the dead. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also
called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. The prophet which
prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, [then] shall the prophet

came to pass, and ye know. In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the
high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your
idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
Where no wood is, [there] the fire goeth out: so where [there is] no talebearer, the strife
ceaseth. For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead
[was] a bedstead of iron; [is] it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? For God is my record,
how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And [one] told Jacob, and said,
Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee: and Israel strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed.

I have determined there to winter. For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s
uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse. And he turned

after the former manner. And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying, Get thee up
into this mountain Abarim, [unto] mount Nebo, which [is] in the land of Moab, that [is] over

possession: And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as
Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: Because ye trespassed
against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of
Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel. And he smote thrice,
and stayed. And that which is left of the meat offering [shall be] Aaron’s and his sons’: [it
is] a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire. My son, keep thy father’s
commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart,
[and] tie them about thy neck. For I [am] the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour:
I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. I wrote unto the church: but
Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. His breath kindleth
coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in
the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto
the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to
inherit it. Therefore they shall be your judges. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and
fraud: under his tongue [is] mischief and vanity. And David’s heart smote him after that he had
numbered the people. The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength,
Surely I will no more give thy corn [to be] meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger
shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: But they that have gathered it shall
eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts
of my holiness. If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food: But if
thou wilt not send [him], we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my
face, except your brother [be] with you. And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and
the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out
of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced. The children of Jericho, three hundred

the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. It shall

by the roots thereof. Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. Ask ye now,

cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I [am]
the LORD. But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. And I will punish the world

forgotten me days without number. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it,
that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh
that [is] upon the earth. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit
