the sin offering [should be made] for all Israel. And the prophets are dead: whom makest thou

Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, [and] look well to thy herds. And that day was
the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to
whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the
stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they
shall inherit [it] for ever. He that wasteth [his] father, [and] chaseth away [his] mother, [is]
a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach. But now I [will] not [be] unto the residue of
this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts. Saith the LORD: shall I cause to
bring forth, and shut [the womb]? Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with
our ears. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? For we are the
circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no
confidence in the flesh. Then Bathsheba bowed with [her] face to the earth, and did reverence to
the king, and said, Let my lord king David live for ever. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that
prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the
LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and
have seen nothing! O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. I am troubled; I am
bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. 1And he spake three thousand proverbs: and
his songs were a thousand and five. And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years,

all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. For even that which was made glorious
had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. And he looked, and behold a
well in the field, and, lo, there [were] three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well
they watered the flocks: and a great stone [was] upon the well’s mouth. And the people chode

LORD! And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and
our cattle should die there? Yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved
of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women

five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four
thousand and five hundred. Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry? Shew thy marvellous

those that rise up [against them]. See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore
he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no
man go out of his place on the seventh day. And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for
frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine

went up the hill to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto
them, Is the seer here? For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, [is] not as the land
of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst [it] with thy
foot, as a garden of herbs: But the land, whither ye go to possess it, [is] a land of hills and
valleys, [and] drinketh water of the rain of heaven: A land which the LORD thy God careth for:
the eyes of the LORD thy God [are] always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the
end of the year. And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot
three years [for] a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia; So shall the king of Assyria
lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and
barefoot, even with [their] buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of

his God. And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to

hand. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son

the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on
every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon
the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two
nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they
defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of
their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have
sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. I speak to
your shame. Tell me, I pray thee: is there room [in] thy father’s house for us to lodge in? And

fruitful bough by a well; [whose] branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved

were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob; (from thence [is] the shepherd, the
stone of Israel:) [Even] by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who
shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under,
blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the
blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the
head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
Therefore [as] I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as

shall possess them. Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send
chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; [namely], Judas surnamed

Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went
out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, [Ye must] be
circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no [such] commandment: It seemed good unto us,
being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. And whosoever shall

of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. Amen. It is reported commonly [that there is]

Jehu shall Elisha slay. And in all the land were no women found [so] fair as the daughters of

grass [upon] the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up: Wherewith the mower filleth not
his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. How was it then reckoned? And [this] shall be a
statute for ever unto you: [that] in the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, ye
shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, [whether it be] one of your own country, or a
stranger that sojourneth among you: For on that day shall [the priest] make an atonement for
you, to cleanse you, [that] ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD. And it shall
