The use of AI in business communication has increased in recent years, transforming how people interact,
collaborate, and communicate. AI for communication has made work smarter and easier.
The objective of this assignment is for students to think strategically and thus have a better understanding of
social media usage patterns among businesses. The presentation should examine how and why people and
businesses use particular social media application and various AI tools for business communication, marketing,
even customer service and making informed business decisions.
This is an interactive presentation and as such full participation should be evident from group members. You
may involve the wider class in your demonstration if you so wish. Feel free to use whatever aids/handouts etc
you deem necessary, to make your presentation effective.
Requirement
Assume the role of a communication consultancy company and create a business name. Each group is required
to conduct a (12-15 mins) in-class workshop, using the technological tools assigned to your group and which
should cover the following.
1) The Purpose(s) of the tools.
2) Instructing and demonstrating how to create, design and use the selected tools, especially for business
purposes.
3) See rubric on page 3.
Note
1. ALL members of the group MUST participate in the actual presentation.
2. SUBMISSION: To be uploaded to VLE on the due date.
3. A printed copy to be submitted to Lecturer before your presentation. You may print two (2) slides
per page and double sided.
4. While a formal dress code is not required, attire should be appropriate. Remember you are
presenting your brand.
