Engineering Project Manager- Millersburg PA

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager/Engineer who will be the primary internal contact
owning the overall project timeline and ensuring projects and maintenance activities are
delivered on time, on budget, and meeting or exceeding internal customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Build Gantt charts and defining project achievements for standard and customized equipment
projects in life sciences industry

 Drive engineering projects to completion, including but not limited to replacement

equipment, equipment upgrades, customization to existing equipment and/or tooling and
plastic injection molding
 Lead and drive the planned maintenance activities using Maximo on equipment upgrades
 Lead design reviews with engineering, operations, quality, suppliers and other
collaborators
 Handle change requests throughout project cycle with Change Control Board and
customers
 Identify, lead and mitigate project risks and issues and report weekly status in project
meetings with internal collaborators, cross-site customers and suppliers
 Travel required to collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to meet project landmarks and to
work with other network sites
 Lead multiple, fast track projects simultaneously for the Millersburg site
 At times, generate new tooling designs and iterate through development from concept to
production.
 Produce/manipulate CAD solid models and conduct engineering analysis of components/
systems
 Generation of specifications and documentation
 Coach and mentor less experienced team members in project management tools,
techniques and people skills

Qualifications and Experience:

Education
BS/ MS degree in Science or Engineering related fields, or MBA with meaningful work
experience

 3-5 years of Project Management experience leading projects of multidimensional scale

and complexity
 Handling System Integration and/or Validation projects
 Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing industry

 PMP certification or equivalent is desired and the ability to build/track/deliver project

plans in MS Project, PPM Pro or other project management tools
 Ability to analyze SKU data and summarize to build justifications and show financial
benefits
 Ability to be a leader, make decisions and to prioritize activities and follow through to
completion
 Experience with Maximo enterprise asset management system (CMMS)
 Requires excellent organization and interpersonal skills
 Experience with Solidworks and PDM will help
 Experience with Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban project/work methodologies is helpful

This position will reside in the Engineering Operations department and will manage
internal projects involving Manufacturing Equipment for Single Use Division (SUD).
