Text: I Corinthians 13:1-4
Those who move quickly can be irritated
Theme: A Loving attitude to all
Intro: Good relationship are based upon good attitudes.
The bible teaches us to have right attitude to other
people at all times. When our attitudes are right,
there are no barriers too high, no valleys too deep
no dreams too excessive, no challenge too great
for us. -the remarkable thing is that we have a
choice everyday regarding the attitude we will
embrace that day.
Proposition: There are 5 attitudes that we need to aim,
Cultivate and develop. - This is the series of sermons
for this coming Sundays: - Let’s take the first one –
A loving attitude to all.
SI – How can we exercise a loving attitude to all?
I - BY SEEING THE GOOD THINGS IN OTHER PEOPLE
A. It is easy to see and be aware of the bad things.
B. And we always pay attention on it.
C. We cannot escape from the fact that there are bad
D. things that are in us that other people doesn’t like.
E. This bad things are the common issue in relationship
It is here that we have miss understanding and quarrel.
F. Love does not focus on the bad things instead he
Look at the good things and try to overcome the bad
things.
G. We can develop a loving attitude when we try to
Always see the good things in the life others.
H. Tell you seatmate - Don’t focus on the bad things in
Me”
II – BY NOT BEING UPSET OR IRRITATED BY ACTIONS AND
ATTITUDES OF OTHERS.
A. We often hear the word “Perfectionist”
B. They are the people who are easily get upset or
irritated.
1. They easily get irritated of the careless
2. they easily get irritated of the untidy
& other things.
C. There are many things that upsets us.
1. those who wake up early get upset by
those who wake up late
2.
By those who move slowly.
Ill - a husband whose wife moves quickly.
D. When a person is upset he could hardly think
Well. - and he will realize later “ Na marami na
Pala siyang nasaktan.”
E. Love does not easily get angry but is patient
F. Let us be patient with one another and don’t
Be upset or irritated – “ Don’t be upset or irritated with
me.”
III – BY THINKING OF OTHERS’ NEEDS AND SEEKING WHAT IS
GOOD FOR THEM.
A. A person who is in love will always think of the need of
The person he love.
B. we can show this love by thinking of their needs and try
to meet them in that way.
C. When a person has this attitude towards others he is then
Showing his loving attitude to others.
D. We should not stop seeking the good of others
E. ILL. A loving parents never stops thinking the need of his
Children and try to seek what is good for them.
CONCLUSION:
I strongly believe with all my heart, that if you
and me could develop this loving attitude to all
those with whom we work and live, especially
to those that are in the household of faith their
would be very few relationship Problems..
