The Miles "Mohawk" British

• The Miles Mohawk was built by the


British firm of Phillips & Powis to
meet the requirements of Col. Lindbergh
whose conferences with F. G. Miles,
director and chief designer of Phillips &
Powis, resulted in the production of the
Mohawk, a long range, high speed mono-
plane. Essentially a typical Miles two-
