This study examined factors that affect high school students' decisions about their future careers by surveying 120 male and female students. A questionnaire was used to determine that personality factors had the highest level of influence on career decisions. The results also showed no significant differences between males and females or across other variables in terms of career decision-making. The study recommends that students choose careers that match their capabilities and interests, with guidance from parents and teachers to help students understand which paths are best for them.

Graduating high school students face one of the most crucial decisions in their lives, the future career decision. This study will be utilizing a quantitative research design using Descriptive Comparative research design to determine the factors that affects the student’s decision making. 60 males and 60 females were selected using stratified random sampling. Therefore, a researcher-made questionnaire was utilize to answer descriptive and inferential questions. The result showed that Personality Factors has the Very High Level in terms of the Decision making of grade 10 students in Choosing their Senior High School Career Track. Thr results revealed that there is no significant difference of decision making in terms of areas and variables are do not differ from each significantly. It Is recommended that . Students should choose the career which is according to their capabilities and of their interest. Moreover, it requires a balance between the freedom given to the pupil to make an independent decision, and counselling on behalf of the parents and teachers, to share their insight and experience.Thus students easily understand which career is best for them. Student interest should never be undermined in choosing a career path.
