1. Why Did you choose to work as an OFW?

To earn money and help my family to avoid poverty.

2. What are the benefits of working abroad?

Free healthcare, high rate salary and expand your horizons, broaden your
skills, and embrace cultural diversity! Experience personal growth, career
advancement, and unforgettable adventures through working abroad.

3. What are the challenges of working as an OFW?

Sometimes the patient is very hard to work with because some had a mental
illness, and also my co-worker dragging me down.

4. How do you deal with the challenges?

Just follow the instructions, and sometimes I will go outside from the work
place to relax and control my emotion.

5. Based from your own experiences, if you were given the choice to work
in the Philippines or abroad, which would you choose? Why ?

I prefer to work in the Philippines, because you are near to your family.

6. Give some pieces of advice to those who want to become an OFW.

Research and gather information, access your skills and qualification,


financial planning, connect with fellow OFW’s, Seek advice and information
From other OFW’s Who have experience living and working abroad. Prepare
emotionally and mentally, stay connected to your loved ones especially your
family
C. Realization:

1. Patience is key: Working hard as an OFW often requires patience and


perseverance. Even when things seem to be going wrong, it’s important to
keep pushing forward.

2. Adaptability is important: Working in a different country or culture requires a


certain level of adaptability. It’s important to be flexible and open-minded
about different customs and cultures.

3. Learn to prioritize: Working hard as an OFW often requires juggling


multiple responsibilities. It’s important to learn how to prioritize tasks and
focus on what’s most important.

4. Have a support system: Working hard as an OFW can be isolating and


overwhelming. It’s important to have a support system of family and friends to
lean on.

5. Take time for yourself: Working hard as an OFW can be a lot of work, but
it’s important to take time for yourself. Make sure to take breaks and make
time for activities that bring you joy.

1. Why did you choose to work as an OFW?

To bring money to my family and I want my siblings to graduate to collage.

2. What are the benefits of working abroad?


The benefits of working abroad are we have free healthcare, food and shelter
also we have strong bond with my co-worker.

3. What are the challenges of working as an OFW?

The challenges of working as an OFW are sometimes I feel lonely because


my family is very far, but if I feel lonely sometime I’ll go around to see nature
and talk to my co-worker.

4. How do you deal with the challenges?

Just relax the problem and challenges will go and enjoy the work that’s it.

5. Based from your own experiences, if you were given a choice to work in
the Philippines or abroad, which would you choose? Why?

For me I will choose abroad because it is more develop and the salary is
better than in the Philippines, yes it is hard but for my family I will do anything
to avoid poverty.

6. Give some peace of advice to those who wants to become an OFW?

Just go with the flow join your co-worker to have fun on work and also do your
job very good, because once the boss in happy everybody will be happy.

C. Realization.

1. Hard work pays off - OFWs often work long hours and in difficult conditions to
provide for their families back home.

2. Sacrifice is necessary - OFWs often leave their families behind in order to earn
a living and provide for them.

3. Education is important - OFWs often emphasize the importance of education


to their children, as they know that it will open up more opportunities to them.

4. Savings are essential - OFWs often try to save as much as possible in order to
provide for their families and to prepare for future needs.

5. Networking is key - OFWs often build strong networks of contacts and friends
in order to increase their chances of finding work and to stay connected with their
family back home.
