Best Student

We are all students, people who are always with the Qur'an always doing good
and righteous deeds and always being on the side of good people. So it is appropriate for us
to always have positive energy because of that. And we should all grow into youth and
Muslim women don't be shy, don't be afraid, and never get bored to always be a good person.
Here I stand in front of all of you to convey some of the qualities that can make us the best
students.
1.Healthy
In order to always be able to do good deeds and goodness, we must have a strong and healthy
body and soul because if we do not have one of the two or even both, it is difficult for us to
be able to do good.
For example, if you have a healthy and strong body but your soul is sick, whether it's
depression, madness or other mental illness. Yes, it will be a little impossible. And vice versa
if you have a healthy and strong soul but your body is always weak and uninspired. .
Therefore, it would be nice if we always take care of our body and soul to always be healthy,
such as by exercising, maintaining a healthy diet, taking adequate rest, keeping our eyes and
heart by always reading the Qur'an and so on.
As said:
"The best medicine for the heart and soul is the Qur'an and the remembrance of Allah"
So try to continue to do good deeds because good deeds will have a good effect on our bodies
and souls. and vice versa, everything that is bad will also have a bad effect on ourselves and
our souls
Remember what Charlie Chaplin said:
"There are six best doctors in the world, namely sun, rest, exercise, friends, diet and self-
respect."
2. Independent
As time goes by we will grow and develop. The longer we will become more mature. And the
thing that is most related to today is the nature of independence. We as santri will definitely
live independently in Islamic boarding schools without a father and mother. There we are
trained to live independent, who usually eats is picked up or dirty clothes are sometimes
washed and even we as children very rarely even do household chores. And this is a problem
because a child like this will become a spoiled child and will definitely bother other people.
Basically humans indeed destined as social beings who must live side by side. But that does
not mean fully dependent on others.
There is a saying from Jordan libero:
"The thing that can change a person's character and behavior the most is circumstances"
Therefore, go and wander as far as possible because in the overseas world you will definitely
get a lot of circumstances and experiences. Likewise, when you are in a boarding school you
will be trained to be able to live independently. Like it or not, like it or not. You have to do
everything on your own without bothering anyone else.

3. Smart.
We are all born in the same state, which is the same in a state of not having knowledge. So
there is no term smart people or stupid people. There are only diligent people and lazy
people. While intelligent is a trait possessed by people who want success and want to try As
much as possible. Smart is the place here, in our brain. So we can see whether the person is
smart or not from his mindset. If the mindset is good then all the actions he does will also be
good. what you do will also be messy and not good. Smart is not only about academics and
lessons. but smart can also be in terms of management or leading or taking and making
decisions. careful but not everyone who is careful is intelligent.
I remember the words of my teacher:
"Learn! Whatever it is, learn. In fact, you are still very lacking."
And remember the words of Mario steadfast:
"If you succeed then be happy but if you fail then learn!"
Whatever it is, just study. Until whenever it's learning! Don't let anything stop you from
learning because intelligent people have sharp minds and far reach. And that can't be done
except by studying.
4.Tolerance
Tolerance or language that we often hear is the nature of respect. As students of course we
get special Islamic education. Therefore, it is obligatory for us to have this tolerance. The
nature of respect is a noble trait because it comes from the heart and everything that comes
from the heart is not a random thing.
So people who have this trait are definitely good people. Because it is impossible for bad
people to use their hearts. If there was a world, our world would surely be peaceful and calm
without war and hostility.
