Shri Sai college of Engg.& Tech.Bhadrawati organised a workshop on ‘Protection of

Environment’ in association with indian water works association under students
chapter on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June’2023 .
The workshop was organised under the guidance of principal of college Dr Vinod S.
Gorantiwar.
The chief guest of the function Dr Balmukund Paliwal was the resource person of the
workshop. In this workshop he demonstrated verious useful products which are
produced from the waste plastic, which whould have otherwise be wasted and might
cause pollution.
Dr Paliwal emphatically put the concept of volume reduction of waste plastics
through the process of waste plastic collection, segregation, grinding, melting and
moulding in required shape and design such as tiles, ribs, bricks. Dr Paliwal
demonstrated verious products such as benches, tables, houses, tiles, cupboards and
many other which are manufactured with proper processing plastics.
Students and faculty members enthusiastically participated in the workshop. Prof
Shreyash Shende conducted proceedings of the workshop and Prof Shradhesh Marwe
proposed a vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to resource person Dr Balmmukund
Paliwal for providing guidance.
