Global warming causes and effects

Introduction
Student: Ani Chkhaidze Professor: Tinatin Turkia

The main topic of my research is Global warming and causes, effects and solutions of it.
Global warming is a term used to describe the increase of temperature on our planet. There
is no exact time when the global warming started raising, but it has been threatening our
lives since scientists began keeping data in 1880. One of the roots of global warming comes
from Greenhouse gases. To make it clear to understand, greenhouse gases are gases in the
earth’s atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide, methane and ozone. Unfortunately, since the
industrial revolution began the amount of gases in the atmosphere has been changing
ongoing. Global warming has severe effects on our lives. The rise of global temperature
increases the chances of storms, hurricanes and wildfires to occur. On the other hand,
climate change not only effects our environment, but food supply as well. Due to, the
unpredictable weather changes, farmers find it difficult to plant and harvest their crops.
What is more, poor sea and ocean condition causes fishes to extinct and has bad effect on
seafood industry. Probably, one of the most important effects of global warming is melting
ice. In the north pole, the ice is melting twice as fast as any other region of the earth.
(Stephanie Pappas, 2022)
Because of this, polar bears are dyeing and geographical location of land is changing
dramatically. Although, Global warming can’t be stopped overnight, there are some things
we as citizens of the earth can do, to slow this terrible process. Those are: protecting
forests, using solar power, reduce waste, plant trees, setting price on carbon… People,
society and governments may lessen the quantity of greenhouse gas that are released into
the atmosphere and delay global warming by investing in renewable energy. In conclusion,
we all know that global warming is a serious problem, it is our responsibility to try to make
the earth safe place to live for our future generations. (Nunez, 2019)
By the end of this research you will have answers to this questions:
 What is Global Warming?
 What causes global warming?
 What are the effects of global warming?
