It is my pleasure to recommend John Reid Jarvis for employment to support his desire to pursue a career
in education in the field of Health and Physical Education. I had the pleasure of meeting John Reid Jarvis
when I joined the City Club Marietta staff in Spring 2023. John Reid has been on staff with us since the
Fall of 2022. At the golf course, John Reid demonstrates that he is a very driven and hardworking student
and employee. He is not only consistently prepared for work but also for his academics, as he always
manages to do both to the best of his ability. John Reid works well with all his co-workers, despite their
age differences. His relevance to people and his outstanding customer service is unmatched. He
continues to grow both academically and professionally as his time at City Club Marietta lengthens. In
addition to succeeding academically, John Reid works a tremendous amount each week and always does
so with a joyful attitude and dedicated spirit. Even when John Reid obtained his student teaching
placement and knew his weekdays would look quite different, he still chose to commit to working around
his new schedule. John Reid works hard and diligently most weekends as he is student teaching at
Hillgrove High School during the week for the spring semester. We couldn’t be prouder of him and his
future endeavors.

One of the most impressive things to me about John Reid is not only his ability to manage all these things
with excellence but the way he carries himself while doing so. In my experience, I would say that you
would find very few people who carry themselves with such kindness, humility, and respect as John Reid.
He is gentle and communicates genuine care to those he encounters. He truly is a remarkable young
man. I have no doubts that he will excel at whatever comes next in his life. He would make an
exceptional addition to your school system, not just because he would be an excellent teacher, but
because he would care for his students in an incredibly beneficial way. I know this because it is what he
has done here for us.

John Reid is not only hardworking, but he has a strong passion for the career of Health & Physical
