To Whom It May Concern,

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Sydney Andrulis. I highly recommend
Sydney for any scholarship or position she is considering.

I have known Sydney for the past ten years as she has played softball for me, and is also my
neighbor. As her coach, I have had an opportunity to observe her participation and interaction
on the field with her teammates, coaches, and opponents. Her work-ethic and willingness to
learn are outstanding in all respects. Sydney has proven through hard work, follow through,
and teamwork, she can accomplish tasks in a courteous and timely manner.

Over these past ten years, Sydney has shown the ability to do whatever it takes to make herself
a better player and person. Her character and work-ethic are truly outstanding, and I for one
am extremely proud of her. Sydney has certain personal characteristics one can’t teach—
respect, selflessness, and accountability. She is one of the most hard-working and responsible
young adults I’ve had the pleasure of watching grow up, and she has done so with the utmost
class and character. Above all else, Sydney is a fantastic example of what a teammate should
be. She is encouraging to those on the team whom are struggling, and leads by example every
single day. I can tell you that Sydney will be an asset to any team, organization, or program
willing to have her.

Sydney Andrulis is well equipped to grow from challenges that she is presented with. Her hard
work, dedication, and outstanding attitude prepare her wonderfully for the next phase of
whatever her future plans have in store for her. I strongly endorse making Sydney a member of
your team.

Sincerely,
