I would like to highly recommend Andrea Williams for this teaching position. I am a kindergarten
teacher at Grand Traverse Academy in Traverse City, Michigan. I have been working in the
education community for 8 years, 6 years teaching kindergarten and have had a passion for
teaching most of my life. I have had the pleasure of working closely with Andrea for 4 years at
Grand Traverse Academy. Every day, I see Andrea working hard to ensure her students are
growing and feel successful.

Andrea was my teaching partner for 4 years at GTA. Andrea is organized, creative, mindful and
a great team player. Andrea is known for creating lessons that meet all of her students’ needs
and were engaging. Her timeline project and dinosaur unit are perfect examples of her creativity
and engagement of students.

She is also extremely flexible. If a student is not succeeding, Andrea takes the time to adjust,
find a new approach to meet their needs. She is able to instruct them like a natural and has
great classroom management ensuring the success of her students.

Andrea has been a pleasure to work with and would make a great addition to any education
community. She has made a positive impact on not just her classroom, but to our school
