the aforementioned may be used to communicate legal notices and other information to me;
6. Read your UWC designated email on a regular basis as this is the primary form of formal communication between the
university and its students;
7. Consent to the University disclosing your results to persons or parties who are responsible, in whole or in part, for the
payment of your studies.

Student Cards will be issued at the Student Administration Helpdesk.

COMMENCEMENT OF CLASSES
Please note that classes will commence on 12 February 2024 (unless an earlier date is communicated to you by your
Department or Faculty). You are able to access a copy of your official class timetable from your student portal by clicking on the
document download tab.

To facilitate blended/online learning and teaching the following resources have been made available to REGISTERED
STUDENTS (only):
 Virtual Private Network (VPN) - VPN provides a mechanism whereby a computer outside of the University's trusted
network can securely access the university's resources which are normally only available on campus. Students will not
pay for data when using the VPN services. The VPN service is FREE! with no data cost to UWC students
(iamuwc.uwc.ac.za). Students will need to have a data connection to either Vodacom, MTN, Cell-C or Telkom in
order to access the VPN.
