launching the most satellites in a single mission? They Literally Launched 104
satellites in a single rocket!
Adithi : We’re here to show such impressive and Indigenous Scientific Milestones
Achieved by India. I’m Adithi
Shubhang : And I’m Shubhang, And today, we gather to celebrate a significant occasion,
National Science Day, commemorating the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V.
Raman in 1928. This day not only honors one of India's greatest scientists but also
serves as a reminder of the pivotal role science plays in our nation's progress.
Adithi : This year, the theme "Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat" holds immense
importance. It underscores the need for India to rely on its own technological
innovations and expertise to drive development and growth.
Shubhang : Indeed! Indigenous technologies are those developed within our own
country, utilizing our resources, knowledge, and skills. They are the backbone of Viksit
Bharat, a vision for a Developed India.
Adithi : These technologies are not just about advancements in science and engineering;
they represent our sovereignty, self-reliance, and resilience as a nation. They empower
us to tackle our unique challenges and cater to the diverse needs of our people.
Shubhang : Absolutely! Just think about it - from the medicines we take to the
smartphones we use, from the food we eat to the transportation we rely on, science
plays a crucial role at every step. And here in India, we've contributed immensely to
scientific advancements with our indigenous innovations.
Adithi : That's right! In the field of medicine, Indian scientists have developed remarkable
technologies that have revolutionized healthcare. Take, for instance, the affordable and
portable ECG machine developed by Indian researchers, making cardiac care accessible
even in remote areas.
Shubhang : And let's not forget about the contributions of Indian scientists to military
technology. The development of the supersonic missile BrahMos is a testament to our
expertise in defense technology, enhancing our national security and strategic
capabilities. The strength and power of our military has a great contribution of science
paired with the undeniably dedicated officials.
Adithi : Indeed! Education, too, has been transformed by indigenous innovations. The
"TAL" (Teach and Learn) tablet, designed specifically for Indian classrooms, is
empowering students and teachers alike with interactive and engaging learning
experiences. Maybe we'll get to see that soon too!
Shubhang : And in the realm of artificial intelligence, Indian startups are making waves
globally with innovative solutions. From AI-driven healthcare diagnostics to personalized
learning platforms, Indian entrepreneurs are leveraging the power of AI to address
societal challenges and drive innovation. As you all know, some of us are currently
reading about AI as a complete subject and some of us use ChatGPT to sneakily get our
school works one too!
Adithi : Cant deny that! I might or might not have used it for most of my work too! These
indigenous inventions not only demonstrate our technological prowess but also address
pressing needs in our society. They embody the spirit of self-reliance and innovation that
is essential for the development of our nation.
Shubhang : To finish today’s speech, I’d like to share a quote that I found really inspiring
in the aspect of science. “Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to
humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world.” - Louis Pasteur
Adithi : We respect the time given by you to patiently listen to this speech! Jai Hind!
