Dear Sir,
ENGAGEMENT AS DATA ANALYTICS INTERN, CONTENT & MARKETING OF MIDP

MIDP Group Sdn Bhd [Company No: 201501034865 (1160188-D)] (“the Company”) is pleased to
engage you as a Data Analytics Intern, Content & Marketing of the Company in accordance with the
terms and conditions hereinafter set forth.

1. Fixed Short Term Engagement


The duration of this engagement is for a period of six (6) months commencing from 8
February 2024 - 8 August 2024, which may be extended or renewed by mutual agreement
from both parties. Upon the expiry of the duration, the Company reserves the right to offer you
a full time employment position subject to your overall performance.

2. Management Trainee Allowance


You shall be paid a monthly allowance of RM 2,000.00 throughout the duration of your
engagement. For the avoidance of doubt, the relationship created by this engagement is that of
an intern and you are neither an agent, representative nor employee of the Company and shall
not be deemed to be for any reason or purpose whatsoever. None of the benefits that are
ordinarily provided by an employer to an employee, including, without limitation to, workers’
compensation insurance, EPF, SOCSO and health insurance, will be provided by the Company
to you. Your benefit package shall be as follows:

Annual Leave : Unlimited (as per Employee Playbook)


Medical & Mental Health Leave : Unlimited (as per Employee Playbook)
Public Holiday : Selected Federal & State Holiday
Work Arrangement : Dual Mode
Claims : Approved Costs & Expenditures
Working Hours : Weekdays 9.00 am – 5.00 pm & Selected Weekends
Performance Review : Every 12 - 18 Months at Company’s discretion

3. Reporting Line
You shall report directly to the CEO of the Company and/or the Head, Content & Marketing.

4. Roles and Responsibilities


As the Data Analytics Intern, Content & Marketing, you shall be responsible of the following:

a) Data Analysis and Interpretation:


○ Collect data and conduct in-depth analysis using tools such as Excel, Python, or R to extract
meaningful insights for content and marketing strategies.
○ Utilise statistical modelling and predictive analytics techniques to uncover patterns and trends
in the soft skills education sector.

b) Advanced Analytics and Modeling:
○ Develop and implement advanced analytics models to forecast marketing trends, customer
behaviour, and content performance.
○ Employ machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics and recommendation systems,
enhancing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

c) Data Infrastructure Management:


○ Contribute to the design and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data storage,
retrieval, and integration for analytical purposes.
○ Collaborate with IT teams to optimise databases and data warehouses supporting analytics
initiatives.

d) Automation and Optimization:


○ Implement automation scripts for routine data tasks, allowing for more efficient and timely data
processing.
○ Optimise data workflows to streamline analytical processes, reducing turnaround time for
insights delivery.

e) Data Visualization and Reporting:


○ Develop and design interactive dashboards for key performance indicators, facilitating easy
interpretation of complex data for stakeholders.
○ Utilise tools like Tableau or Power BI to create visually compelling reports that convey analytical
findings in a clear and concise manner.

f) All other tasks and work which are related or incidental to the portfolios.

5. Performance Review

5.1. The Company reserves the right to review your performance as well as provide comment and
feedback in relation to your roles and responsibilities. Upon receiving the Company’s
feedback, you shall make the necessary rectification and improvement immediately.

5.2. As an intern of the Company, you are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner
safeguarding the reputation of the Company at all times. You are expected to perform any
tasks given to you to the satisfaction of your superior within the timeline given, failing which
you may be given warnings and if the failure persists, this may be considered as a default
which warrants termination of your engagement.

5.3. You shall carry out your duties with the degree of skill, care and diligence as may be expected
of a qualified and competent professional in the industry in the best interest of the Company at
all times.

6. Confidentiality and Personal Data

6.1. You shall not, during the term of your contract and for a period of one (1) year after the
expiration or termination of this letter, disclose or permit the disclosure of any information
concerning the business, trade secrets, legal matters, contractual arrangements, dealings,
transactions, finance, pricing, clients, vendors, suppliers, consultants, strategy, concept,
personal data or any other information in relation or incidental to internal and external affairs of
the Company (“Confidential Information”) to any third party, except:

(a) In respect of any information which you are authorised in writing to disclose by the CEO
of the Company; or

(b) In respect of any information which shall become public knowledge from the time that
such information becomes public knowledge (otherwise than as a result of your breach of
this letter or any third party breach of similar undertaking).

7. Intellectual Property
You hereby irrevocably and unconditionally surrender to the Company all intellectual property
rights of all works produced by you in the course of your engagement with the Company. You
undertake to keep the Confidential Information protected at all material times and hereby agree
that the Confidential Information should not be disclosed to any third party or to be utilised for
your own personal use. This Clause shall survive termination of this engagement.

8. Compliance with Laws and Policies


You are required to comply with all laws regulating your work as well as all expressed or implied
rules, regulations and policies of the Company notified to you from time to time, including but
not limited to any guidelines on business operations, code of conduct or internal memoranda by
way of electronic mails, paper notes or otherwise.

9. Termination of Agreement

(a) The Company may terminate your appointment by way of three (3) months’ notice in writing
for unsatisfactory performance of your job scope and duties or unsatisfactory overall
business performance of the Company, both to be determined at the Company’s absolute
discretion or payment in lieu of such notice.

(b) You may terminate this engagement by way of three (3) month notice in writing without
assigning any reason thereof or payment in lieu of such notice.

(c) Notwithstanding Clause 11 (a) and (b) above, the Company may terminate this letter
immediately with no compensation whatsoever at any time during your engagement with
notice in the event of:

● any serious or persistent misconduct including but not limited to insubordination,


dishonesty, fraud, misappropriation of assets or any unacceptable behaviour; or

● any act or omission affecting the Company in a negative way, including but not limited to
inappropriate or unlawful behaviour or any behaviour which disregards Company’s
reputation and best interest, be it offline or online; or

● charge or conviction of any criminal offence; or

● inability, by reason of illness or other incapacity, to carry out your duties under this letter
for an aggregate period of forty-five (45) days during the duration of the contract; or

● failure to provide proper, effective and timely communication to the Company.

10. General Provision

(a) Time. Time, wherever mentioned, is of the essence of the contract.

(b) Severability. If any provision of this letter is illegal or unenforceable, in whole or in part,
under the law, such provision or part shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of
this letter but the enforceability of the remainder of this letter shall not be affected.

(c) Entire agreement. This letter supersedes all prior oral and written agreements or
communications and constitutes the entire and final agreement between the parties with
respect to the subject matter hereof.

(d) Amendments. The parties may mutually modify, vary and/or amend any provisions of this
letter by way of a written notice whereupon such modification, variation and/or
amendment shall be read and construed as if such modification, variation and/or
amendment had been incorporated in and had formed part of this letter at the time of
execution hereof.

(e) Waiver. Failure by the Company to demand performance of any term or condition shall
not be deemed a waiver of the Company’s right to demand performance at a later date.

(f) Warranty. By signing this letter, you are not in breach of any other agreement entered
with any third parties. All information, strategy and documents furnished and to be
furnished by you to the Company in connection with this engagement do not and shall
not contain untrue, misleading and/or inaccurate statements, and do not and shall not
infringe the intellectual property rights of any party.

11. Governing Law


This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

ACCEPTANCE

I, MUHYUDDIN AHSAN BIN SULTAN ASKIN (NRIC NO: 020101-07-0445) a Malaysia citizen of full
age hereby accept the content of this letter and undertake to observe the terms and condition of this
letter. I further agree to the best of my abilities to perform the duties, obligations and responsibilities
hereunder in the best interests of the Company at all times to the full satisfaction of the Company.
