This document is a reflection from a student named Stephen Kian Justine M. Arrogancia on his experiences with child development and rights. In the reflection, he shares that as a child he was exposed to activities like MMA and wrestling that were inappropriate for his age. This led him both advantages and disadvantages as he grew up. For example, when he was in high school he broke his arm playing basketball against older, larger students because his body was not developed enough at his young age. The reflection examines how childhood experiences can both positively and negatively impact development into adulthood.

PROGRAM BSE SCIENCE SUBJECT Ed 1 LECTURER Thelma Libao Reflection in CHILD RIGHTS AND CHILD ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT
In this lesson, I shared some of my experiences about how I develop from
childhood up to this current stage, which is early adulthood. At first, when I was a child, I adapted some things that were not appropriate for my age or my stage, which is that of a child. Those things, which are watching MMA, wrestling, boxing, basketball, and other physical activities, mostly end up hurting each other upon performing them. So, when we say a child, what he or she was witnessing should be appropriate to him or her, like playing at the playground, watching some kids show that has a lesson at the end, etc. So, as my childhood was not that enjoyable since I was exposed way early to teen and adult things, with all of that exposure, some sides put me at a good advantage and some did not. One example is that when I was in Grade 9, February 19, 2019, I got into an accident because I played basketball with the uppermen. I was the youngest in the game, and my body size is not really appropriate for them since they are already adults and I was a teenager, and they seem more bulky than me, like I was a thin teenager playing against bulk. I broke my arm and got hospitalized to get treated. On the other side, it puts me at an advantage since they already know what I'm about to do.
