 How are you grade for learners, I hope you’re doing fine! I am teacher Erlina and we
are going to learn exciting lesson today! But before anything else, I will first
introduce you the steps in handwashing. Show the steps/video

First we are going to give the meaning of direction.
 Direction provides a guide on how to perform or do an action .
 How to give direction?
 When giving a direction it is important for to include all the necessary information
here and some tips to follow.
 Here are some suggestions.
1. Directions must always be clear.
2. The sentences must come in order to be understood.
3. Use signal words like first, next, then, finally or lastly to introduce the steps in
the process or sequence of events.
 Here’s the list of signal words in giving or writing direction

I will be reading you the process on how to make a warm glass of milk. As I do,
I want you to identify the signal words that are used in this paragraph, are you ready?

How to Make a Warm Glass of Milk

First, heat up a cup of water using a pot or a kettle. Next, add 2-3 tablespoon of milk to a
glass. Then, pour the hot water into the glass. After that, mix in sugar if desrired. Finally,
stir your milk and it’s ready to drink.
I will give you 10 second to do that.
