you need to arrange according to the
correct order base on the photo that it
shows. The group who form with the
correct arrangement will get a plus
points later on our test. Are you all
ready?
(Students are given 3 minutes to
answer the problem)

very easy to all of you. Did you have Yes Sir! We have fun in discussing
fun? what picture should come first and
then to last.
Do you now have any idea what would
be our topic for today? I think our topic for today is all
about arranging events in logical
order using transition/signal words.
Very Good!

B. Presentation

Logical Connectors
 Logical connectors are used to
join or connect two ideas that
have a particular relationship.
 These relationships can be:
sequential (time), reason and
purpose, adversative
(opposition and/or unexpected
result), and condition.
 Focus only on connectors that
show CHRONOLOGICAL,
LOGICAL SEQUENCE, and
SUMMATION.
 NUMERICAL – in the first place,
first, secondly, initially
 BEGINNING – at first, to start
with, to begin with, for a start,
first of all, initially
 CONTINUATION – previously,
after this, afterwards,
eventually, subsequently,
before this, next, then
 CONCLUSION – finally,
eventually, at last, in the end,
last but not the least, as a final
point, lastly, to conclude
 SUMMATION – in conclusion, to
sum up, to summarize, in
summary, in sum.

What are the different sequence The different sequence are

What do you think is the purpose of Sequence connectors are use in a
