Definition
 A standardized test is a test that is administered and scored in a consistent, or
"standard", manner. A standardized test is the one which has been developed
from tryouts and experimentation to ensure that it is reliable and valid.
Norm Versus Criterion
Norm-referencing is when you compare the data to other test-takers.
Criterion-referencing is when test data is measured against a specific description or
rubrics.
