The bar chart provides the percentage of divorces in two specific nations, over a five-year period from

2011 to 2015.

Overall, despite obvious fluctuations, it is obvious that Finland experienced an upward trend in the
divorce rates whereas those of Sweden dropped throughout the period. Furthermore, Finland's divorce
rates were always lower than those of Sweden with the exception of 2015.

In 2011, the proportion of divorces in Finland was at 37 percent. That of Finland later dropped to its
lowest at 32 percent in 2012, then gained an additional nine percent in the next two years, and
remained unchanged by 2015.

In contrast, it is clearly seen that the percentage of divorces in Finland experienced an opposite
trajectory, starting at approximately a rate of 45. In the next year, Finland's divorce rates
witnessed a rise of five percent to reach its peak at slightly above a half, before decreasing to the
original figure in 2014. A decline of 8 percent was seen at the end of the period.
