Iffah's New Pet

Iffah finished her extra class at half past two and walked home. At five o’clock, she
rode her bike to the park. She arrived at a quarter past 5. Iffah liked to go to the park which
has a beautiful garden. She loved to see the beautiful flowers in the garden. There were pink,
white and red hibiscuses, pink roses and big, yellow sunflowers. She loved the sunflowers the
most.

Then, she played at the playground. She heard some noise coming from under a black
bridge. She went near the bridge and saw a cute white cat in a brown box. She tried to look for
its mother but she couldn’t find it. She carried the poor cat out of the box. At first, it was afraid
and tried to run but Iffah petted its body slowly. The cat felt safe and became calm.

Iffah took the cat home. She gave it some milk and food. The hungry cat quickly drank
the milk. Iffah put clothes in a box and put the cat in it. The cat looked happy in its new home.
Iffah wanted to keep the cat as her pet. Her mother agreed and Iffah was very happy.
