My Dream Job

          My name is Jessie Lim and I'm twelve years old. My mom is a doctor and my
father is a piano teacher. My dream job is to be an artist. I don't want a normal job. I
think working in an office is boring. I'd like to be famous and be around people. I love
drawing pictures. I want people to adore my paintings. I'm sure this job wouldn't be
very boring. I can meet different people every day too. I have all the things I need to
do this job. The most important thing is my imagination.

          I always do my best in Mrs. Rozie's art class. She really likes my art works. My
friends too say that I'm really good in drawing pictures. I go to art classes every
Monday and Thursday afternoon. Every weekend, I will follow my brother, Robin to

I started my first video on YouTube in 2015. At that time, I sang viral

songs but the videos did not hit many people. Then, I tried to record a
A ‘get ready with me’ video where I shared how I mix and match my
clothes before I went to the office. Now, my channel has more than 60
thousand subscribers and 90% of them are women. When I read notes
from them saying that they feel more beautiful after following my ways
– it’s good to know that I’ve helped!

When I was young, I wanted to be a singer. However, God has better

plan for me, he makes me a teacher. So, I sing for fun and share them
B on YouTube. Last year, I sang ‘Easy on You’ by Adella and put it in my
channel, ‘Great Teacher Kumar’. The singing went viral. Now, it has
more than 1 million views. YouTube is paying me for every second it is
watched, so thanks to my subscribers. I give the money to the poor
around my hometown in Terengganu.  

John Gibb

I began my ‘Eat with John Gibb’ channel when I moved to Malaysia

from the US in 2011. My first video was when I tried satay in Haji
C Saburi Restaurant in Kajang and almost 200 thousand people liked it. I
have travelled around Malaysia, tried many food and shared them in
my channel. So far, I think the best food is ‘nasi dagang’ from
Terengganu. Now, I’m busy with my work. I don’t have time to set new
food videos.
