As we approach the Division Schools Press Conference, slated for ______________, I am writing to seek
your permission for a dedicated group of students and teachers to undergo whole-day training starting
January 11, 2024.

While we cherish the prospect of our students showcasing their talents and representing our school
with pride in academic contests, we are equally committed to safeguarding their well-being. The
potential stress posed by overwhelming activities they need to fulfill for their classrooms in lieu of their
absence due to training has made them hesitant to participate.

In consideration of these challenges, I kindly request your support in exempting the participating
students from their regular class activities and requirements during the preparation period. This
exemption aims to allow our students to focus on their training and journalistic responsibilities without
compromising their academic performance. Importantly, it aligns with the principle of child protection
under Republic Act No. 7610.

Your understanding and consideration are highly valued, and your support in granting this request will
significantly contribute to the success of our participants, reinforcing the spirit of academic excellence
within our school.
