·1 metal spoon
·1 wooden
spoon
·Hot water
·Manila paper
·Writing pen

Caution: Be careful of pouring hot water. It might burn your skin if


improperly used.

Procedures:
1. Prepare the materials needed.
2. Pour the same amount of hot water on two mugs.
3. Place metal spoon on one beaker and the wooden spoon on the
other.
4. Then, observe what will happen.
5. Answer the guide questions below.

1. Which spoon becomes hot? And which spoon remains at the
same temperature?
2. What happens when you put a metal spoon into the hot water?
3. What happens when you put a wooden spoon into the hot
water?

button.
2. ·Put 2 ml of water in the kettle.
3. ·Observe what will happen to the water.
4. ·After the experiment, turn off the electric stove.
