I’m so glad you’ve downloaded this cheat sheet because Reels are the biggest
opportunity on Instagram right now to get new aesthetic clients.

But it can be so hard to know what to post, especially if you’re just starting out,
right?

I’m Miranda Pearce, and in 2016 I discovered the secret to social media success. I
grew my husband Dr Tim Pearce’s Instagram from 5K to 38K in just 20 months,
and now I’m teaching hundreds of other Injectors to do the same.

That’s why I’ve put together this done-for-you Reels cheat sheet with 15 ideas for
highly engaging Instagram Reels that you can get started with right now to help
you grow your business.

1 TELL PEOPLE WHAT YOU DO

Goal: Your audience will think S/He is my kinda person and


will be more likely to book.

Reels are only up to 90 seconds long but you can easily


film a video of yourself - no talking necessary
Use the editing tools to add text explaining what you do
and how you can help them

2 HOST A CHALLENGE WITH A
COLLEAGUE OR INJECTOR FRIEND

Goal: Show off your personality so that your audience feel

Never underestimate the power of a fun challenge.


You could create a challenge around anything. It could be silly, or fun,
or testing each other's knowledge.
Challenge ideas could include ‘Who can name all the facial arteries
quickest?’ or accent challenge to show the funny differences between
yours and your colleague’s northern and southern accents
If you don’t live near your colleague you could screen record a
Facetime. When you’re uploading the video to Reels choose the
‘collaboration’ tag option so that it appears on both feeds. You might
get some new followers!
3 SHARE A MOTIVATIONAL OR
FUNNY QUOTE IN VIDEO FORM

Goal: To be seen by non-followers

Your followers won’t be able to resist

USING TRENDING AUDIO

Goal: Show off your personality


so that your audience feel safe
with you

You’ve probably seen these Reels


before, people add text overlay to
their Reel and point on the screen to
the hack they are sharing. For
clinicians a great idea is to share
aftercare tips for your patients. You
could split these into a few Reels
such as….3 Lip Filler Aftercare Tips, 3
Microneedling Aftercare Tips and
make a series!

FILM A DAY IN YOUR LIFE AS AN
INJECTOR AND CUT ALL THE
FOOTAGE TOGETHER USING REELS
EDITING TOOLS
As you go about your day, film some of
the things you get up to in your clinic.
Your breakfast, your first patient of the
day (with consent of course), your
lunchtime walk, booking in patients.
Then within the Reels section of
Instagram you can edit all your clips
together into one Reel. People love
seeing what the person behind the
business gets up to.

Goal: ‘Behind the scenes’


content helps your potential
patients see what it’s going to
be like when they have an
appointment, so they’ll feel
more comfortable to book.

6 PREPARING YOUR CLINIC -
TIMELAPSE

Goal: Share some insight into your clinic and workspace

people are using to create
their own timelapse, a good
suggestion is Chemical
Brothers - Galvanise

These are super fun and easy to film. All you need to do is record
yourself preparing for a clinic, for example opening up, cleaning,
laying out your equipment, and then create a time lapse (you can
do this in the Reels tool by speeding up your videos when you
upload them).
7 ANSWER YOUR PATIENTS’ MOST
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Goal: Remove the fears that


are blocking your potential
patients from booking

This is a great way to show off to your


patients that you know what you’re
talking about. By gathering some of
your patients’ most commonly asked
questions and answering them in a
Reel, you’re sharing this content with a
wide range of people who potentially
all want the same question answered.
Once you’ve removed the fears that
hold your patients back, for example
‘Will it hurt?’, they will book.

8 SHARE A TRANSITION OF YOUR
CLINIC ‘GLOW UP’ OR A CLINIC TOUR

Goal: People watch transitions more than once so your


views will be high

Do you have your own clinic or rent a room in a clinic that


you’re proud of? Share some photos/videos of your clinic
when you first moved in vs now and make sure the after
photo/video starts at the same moment the beat changes
in the audio. People love to see Reels like this because it’s
satisfying to see progress happen in front of our eyes.

emergency kit, where patients
have their consultation.

Goal: People are grateful for a laugh!

Bust people’s assumptions about aesthetics.

This can become a series on your account.

10 HOW IT STARTED VS HOW IT’S
GOING

Goal: By sharing your


journey and progress

In this Reel idea you can show


off how far you’ve come! Share
some photos or video footage
of when you just started out
(e.g. a picture of you with your
first aesthetics certificate or
graduating nursing school)
compared to now. The contrast
will instantly make your
audience aware of your
experience and how dedicated
you are to becoming the best
clinician you can be, for their
benefit.

Your potential patients probably know surprisingly little about


aesthetics, so why not surprise and educate them by making a Reel
of you pointing to 3 unexpected ways filler can be used: as a G-spot
enhancer; extra cushioning on the souls of the feet; and to plump
earlobe creases! Even if you don’t offer those treatments, it’s a
fascinating talking point in the comments!
13 USE TRENDING SOUNDS TO SHARE
YOUR BEFORE AND AFTERS

Goal: Show your audience

it’s a good idea to create a ‘big
reveal’ with some audio that
will make people stop scrolling
in their tracks. Make sure you
add a ‘call to action’ in your
caption to encourage them to

Are you thinking about announcing an offer for an


occasion such as Christmas, Halloween, or the start of
summer? Reels are a great way to announce a new
product as they reach a lot of people, you can add
trending audio and you can use the editing tools to make
your announcement stand out 🎉
15 SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND
EXPERTISE

Goal: Inform your patients


of your expertise and
build trust

Are you passionate about a


certain area? Do you know a lot
about a certain area of anatomy
or treatment, for example lips or
Profhilo? Gather some images
that relate to your chosen topic,
upload them to a Reel and
record a voiceover narrating the
process.
